ShoutBox Gone?

Hi, Today, I very wierd thing happened. I logged into Pagalguy.com and wasn't able to see a ShoutBox. Have I been banned from the shoutbox? NO. Or it has been removed? Help !!!!

It was great trying to discover Old Shoutbox feeling out of the Chat-Box talking to Oldies again 😃

So each time u login try to click ur "Second" click on the Chat-Box link :)
First Click? Obviously that is reserved for the Google Ads 😉 :)

Take a look after the list of users that are currently online at the bottom of the page....U'll see a link to the chat Box

okies...luks lik sb aint comin back....

altho it has been ignored for a really really long time...lets remove the dirt that has settled over it....

lets talk...lets have some fun...on the CHAT BOX

me n akshat have been usin it for half n hour now..n it seems pretty ok....

pg bhai...if the server load is in manageable limits..can the shout box be enabled???i'm sure lotsa people around here miss it...i certainly do..

Server load is down to manageable limits, last month we did around 2.5 million pages and 2.8 crore hits... But I have no plans to get the shoutbox back .. there is a need for moderation and I have seen a rapid denegeration in the quality of the shouts.

Command like a king, work like a slave.

hey pg.So what is the load on the server like?????i guess it must have reduced.Atleast from the above statistics and a few more,i think it must have come down.How many pages are being served now????Any news on this front?????

Hey PG,

I agree with you on the SB part :). Most of us( I had recently started ) were using the SB to Chat anyway. I tried the Chat Box Yesterday and it think it is a pretty effective substitute for the SB.

And as for the people not frequenting the CB. Here's my take . Just rename the Chat Box as the Shout Box i.e In the link for the CB just mention "Click here to access the Shout Box" . I think we will have all "Shouters" back in no time .
