Hi All, It seems that sex education will be made compulsorily in all schools above 10th, why not yoga be taught at schools so that the child can have a good physique... this is because obesity is increasing and also if yoga is promoted,...

Pal..those were some assumptions....Esp in a Cricket loving like nation of our, kids opting for Football is unrealistic.Anyways, Would be happy if Yoga can make a great Indian Football team who can challenge likes of Brasil & Co!!

Well, u cant compare Yoga to studies, as weeker studnets need to (min)spend 2-3 hrs daily on studies where as 15 min of Yoga daily is sufficient for a School boy.

So you see na... Its only 15 minutes... Also yoga would also help improve the weeker students iq. But I dont think 15 minutes of yoga would do any good. Look if by yoga, a weeker student can read a chapter which took earlier 3 hrs but now 2:30 hrs, then over a long term, it would prove very beneficial.

Well, if yoga is done regularly, it keeps your body and mind healthy. So people would have to study less but can still score better marks. Thereby more time would be available for playing and when more time is available for playing, more students will play and compete.. This way eventually fifa cup may be won..

And regarding students not taking yoga seriously... well students also do not take studies seriously then do we give only 1 hr per week? yoga is also important like studies... yoga/games is not secondary to studies.

Didnt get how did you correlate Yoga & World Cup!!
You just cant expect school going children to take Yoga seriously esp till age 15.They will anytime prefer a GAMES class or for that matter any regular game like Football/Cricket/TT etc...
It can be introduced as once a week class for half n hour!!

Yep, true, Yoga gives a different vision a different dimension for thinking and acheive things, only through practice we will know that.
