Hi joinashish,

Other than Nanyang EMBA, I am not aware of any other program (in SG) with this specialisation track. With regards to placement in the energy sector, probably one of the bigger organisations you can work for would be government organisations like the Energy Market Authority - http://www.ema.gov.sg/ , the salary (as I'm sure you're already familiar) is very attractive.

Both National University of Singapore (NUS) and National Technological University of Singapore (NTU) have close ties and internship programs with many government organisations (such as EMA), in short, a generalist MBA from these universities would be suitable for a career in the local energy industry.

thanks guys to share ur views...@ HermanS: I like to go for full time MBA and executive MBA will not serve the purpose. So, which school in singapore has the reputation for placements in energy sector.

@ Sudhir: thanks for the information, I like to continue in Asia because of heavy fee structure in US. What do u suggest?

Hi Joinashish, if you are looking for a Singaporean MBA, I believe that the Nanyang EMBA (Specialisation in Energy Industry) would be most relevant for you - http://www.nbs.ntu.edu.sg/Graduate/Nanyang_EMBA/Pages/EnergyTrack.aspx

The GMAT requirement for Nanyang MBA program is 600 and above, you would not have to worry about that given you above average score.

Here's a related link about the rankings of the Nanyang MBA Program - http://www.coursesinsg.com/2012/07/singapore-mba-rankings.html - let me know if its useful for you =)

Dear all,

I have 7+ years of experience in project management( construction+ piping+ electrical) with oil & gas sector. Now i want to change my profile from people management to strategy management. With the huge previous experience in energy sector, I like to continue in oil & gas sector or like to continue in the same function but with a broader role.

Can you please suggest the best for me.
My GMAT score is 710( Q=50, V=35).

thanks in advance.
