20% gain on sp --sp/cp = 5/4 and then 25% loss on sp --sp/cp = 4/5.

5/4 = x*4/5--x = 25/16 where 16----384 so 25----600

@GHILLIDHARANI Let a cube has edge of 10 cm

Then volume = 1000 cm^3

Now, the edge of the cube becomes = 7 cms

Vol = 343 cm^3

Decrease % in volume = (1000-343)*100/1000

= 65.7 %
