Hello crack verbal, Kindly evaluate my profile 10/12/Engineering grad 2015 - 73/63 /5.78 took five years to graduate. Due to consecutive death of my grand parents I had to skip exams in first year. Sports - table tennis twice district winner Keyboard District runner Received - raja purashkar award from the former governor of Tamil Nadu for scout and was the lead for my team. One year experience in Mechanical core as a basic trainee under bond. I have switched my domain to IT job, by next year I will have 2yrs of total work experience. I wrote cat scored around 80. So I believe next year I can work hard and get good score in gmat in or around 700. Will i get isb or any other top b schools?

Profile Evaluation for Two year MBA or One Year MBA in any top 30 business schools in India (Apart from all top IIM's /XLRI/MDI/FMS etc) 


I am planning to appear for CAT ,CMAT and SNAP next year and preparation is underway.


 Please find my particulars below.


10th - 74 %

12th - 66.6 %

B.E (in Information Science Engineering) - 56%


Total Work Ex of 4 Years

I Joined to Flipkart and working as a Team Lead for Process Excellence - Sr Business Analyst (Strategy) 

Got certified as a Lean Six Sigma professional.


Extra Curricular Activity: Been an active part of NCC Naval junior wing for 6 long years. Got certificated for the service.


I request for my profile evaluation, any scope for a students like me, to purse any MBA from any top B schools and let me know what band of colleges I can fetch post a decent score in CAT, SNAP , MH-CET , NMAT and CMAT as I very well know that my academic background stands to be my major drawback.


Also i wanted to know whether I stand any chance of seeking a place in any top BSchool of Symbiosis Crade through SNAP??

Hii...Is my profile good enough for securing call from IIMs (Old & New) : 10th-80.61, 12th-75.67, UG-66.45 (B.Com),I have also completed ICWAI (CMA) having work-ex of 1.5 yrs. (Gen -Male) What percentile is needed considering above credentials ?

The average indicative cut-off for getting a call from the IIMs has been around 96 percentile, for the old IIMs, although it will be lower for the newer IIMs (around 85-90). With your work-ex, if you get 90+, then you should have a chance of getting a call@Shail_33

I have to total 6.5 years of work experience in company like cognizant and capgemini. Currently working as automation test engineer. Experience in handeling team . My academic results are x-75%, xii - 60% , btech 79 % . Have few IT certifications like oca. Planing to give gmat . Please tell me is this profile is ok iims or not. Thanks ..

It depends on several factors:


1. your overall acads. GMAT is the missing piece here

2. Your work experience, career growth, achievements and impact on your company/ clients. 

3. Your extra curricular interests and involvement

4. Your career goals and the need to do an MBA.


You will have to come out shining on every front to increase your chances

Dalhousie University in Canada has a new MBA program designed for people with no experience or little experience called Corporate Residency MBA (CR MBA for short). The main elements of the program include an 8-month paid work term (dubbed the 'Corporate Residency') included with in the program. So after 2 years of education, students will be graduating with MBA degree as well as a proper 8 months Canadian Work Experience. It has a job success rate of 91% within 6 months after graduation with averagae salary of $60,000.
