hello,I have given CAT last year (2011-last year of my graduation) 87 percentile, couldn't get a good college.Iam reappearing in 2012.

what I want to ask is the I am done with my graduation. Iam NOT working.People have told me that you shouldnt be sitting idle (it gives negative points during interview) So a counselor suggested me to do a one year PG diploma in Financial Planning along with CAT preparation.

Will it be helpful?will it be good utilization of one year and something good to talk about during CAT interviews? Please suggest or should I go for an internship with a NGO (which was my plan ) will be of any worth from the point of view of CAT interviews
the following institutes offer the course

- International college in financial planning
- Indian Institute of Financial Planning
- BIFM
- New Era Institute of professional studies.

Well, you should enrol into some PG course rather than simply preparing for CAT. Considering the present market scenario, I would suggest you the option of diploma in financial markets, as it is one of the most promising sectors. ITM University offer various diploma courses in finance, global economy, operation and lots more. You can check their courses from their official website.
