Hi Akrichard,

I would suggest you to try full time if you can. As far as I know, PGSEM from IIMB is a good course (2.5Yrs, 9L). Its been there for 12 years now. But its very rigorous course since its curriculum is similar to PGP & IIMB faculty expect similar commitment from students as full time ones. Also its more oriented towards IT/ITES (I am yet to join). Also, what I understood by talking to alumni and others is the part time tag comes along with IIM tag :)
I am not aware of part time in IIMC.
But I am sure, if it is there, these courses (B & C) will be much better & well received by industry than satellite programmes.

It has been always in my mind to do my Management Degree but got the serious MBA blues few days back when i heard about a old friend
of mine joining IIML after 4 years of CAT preparation plus I always felt
this would help me climb the corporate ladder quickly..

More about me

B.E from one of Top 10 private Colleges in Tamilnadu
System Analyst with 5 years of experience in IT (Currently Team Lead)
Married for 1 year with no Kids
Wife working in Reputed BPO Day shift

I am aware the PGD fulltime of BLACKI (leave S) is the best in the country.
I dont want to do from any other institute and just only BLACKI..
I am still evaluating my chances of cracking CAT and joining PGD in any of
those fulltime.. before that i did spent some time trying to understand the parttime programs offered by IIM's..sorry cant get into 1 year Executive program..its way too costly...

3)I downloaded the E Book of inspirations but didnt see a married guy's
story in it..can you point me to some thread how a married guy made
to IIM managing the Financial & Family Expectations?

Please read the following post for inspiration.Post 2 in that thread

He has got 116 months experience
