@anshika1997 Hello! We do not provide admission on caste based category , there is General and corporate sponsored category. However, LBSIM offers scholarship to meritorious students of PGDM programmes on merit-cum-means basis. The Merit-cum-Means scholarship is provided on the basis of academic performance and economic conditions of the candidates.

Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, in collaboration with Nation Skill Development Council of India, organized "Divya Kaushal 2019: Opportunities Unlimited", a first of it's kind. It's a two-day ability expo on the grounds of Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences, Dwarka on 2nd and 3rd of December, 2019.

The expo brought various innovative startups and companies like Zomato, Wipro, etc together for the common goal of developing skills and employment for the youth of India, especially people with disabilities.

Students of LBSIM also had an important contribution in this event. The Social Immersion team of LBSIM worked closely with NSDC for the past few months to find out ways in which disabled people can be employed and hence become independent and return to main flow of society. They had to pitch their final business plans in the "Business Plan Competition" in front of everyone in this event. Besides this, a team of student reporters from LBSIM also covered the two day event from start to finish. Both the teams were felicitated with certifications from NSDC.

“Apart from education, you need good health, and for that, you need to play sports.” - Kapil Dev.

With this thought in mind Zenith - Sports Committee, LBSIM organized RannBhoomi 2019, the Intersection Wars for the new batch 2019-21. Be it morning or evening, the atmosphere was always full of energy whenever there was a match. The sportsmen and women from all the batches showcased their talent and their sportsman spirit in various tournaments of Cricket, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Chess, Badminton, etc. As the fire was lit by Zenith the different sections also locked their horns in a test of strength and skills in events like Arm Wrestling and Tug of War. All in all, thanks to RannBhoomi the true spirit of sports permeated through LBSIM these past few days.

As India has the second largest population on Earth, managing and effectively using this human capital to enhance businesses is one of the greatest aspects that the Indian business industry is trying to grapple with. Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management understands this and hence organized the National HR Conference, 2019 within its campus on Saturday, November 30, 2019. The theme of the conference was "Business Excellence Through Enhanced Human Capital: The Changing Face of People Practices". Personalities like Ms. Richa Maithani Ramola and Mr. Nishith Upadhyaya were invited as the key speakers, Dr. Punam Sahgal as the Chairperson of the Technical session and the chief guest was Mr. Kumaar Bagrodia. This helped a lot in maintaining a healthy relationship between the institute and the industry and also was a great learning experience for the students as they got exposure from industry experts on the different aspects of the business world. #HumanResource #NationalConference #LBSIM #Dwarka #MBA #PGDM #Change #ChangingPractices
