What r other form that need to be filled on basis of Neet Registration and last date. I know Jipmer prospectus is launched which has separate exam like AIIMS.

Once you have filled the application form of NEET for MBBS/BDS courses across the country, you do not have other colleges to apply seperately. The selection of candidates will be made based on thier scores and rank in NEET 2017. The canddiates will have to register themselves for the 15% AIQ seats conducted by DGHS (www.mcc.nic.in). There are no other forms that you need to fill up before the examination takes place on May 7.

You can apply your city of examination as Punjab and would be qualified for state quota seats as well.

I belong to OBC category. My maths is really weak and consequently my physics and chemistry too. But I'm exceptionally good in Biology and had scored full marks in bio. in my class 12th exams. Kindly guide me how to prepare my stategy for NEET 2017. Also, please tell how much I have to score to get into a MBBS college.

Cracking NEET, just like any other entrance examination, needs proper planning and hard work. There is no shortcut to it and thus you need to be fully aware of:

  1. Your Syllabus
  2. Time in your hand
  3. Pattern of the examination
  4. Total number of Questions and marks associated with it
  5. Time given for the test

Once you know all this, it is the time to begin your preparation. Less than 5 months are left for NEET 2017 and most of the students may be are busy studying for their board exams as well. But those who are repeaters or are preparing themselves in coaching institutes are focused to crack the examination. Hence, you have a tough competition from them. The fact that there are some 11 Lakh candidates fought for the 50,000 odd MBBS seats in the country clears the picture of level of difficulty of the examination. Hence you should have a proper strategy in mind for the examination. There are three subjects that you will be preparing for and the consequent number of questions are given below:1.Physics- 45 Questions ( 45*4= 180)2. Chemistry- 45 Questions (45*4= 180)3. Biology (Zoology+ Botany)- 90 Questions (90*4= 360)The total marks of NEET is 720 and somewhere around 500 to 600 is a score that many candidates look forward to, in order to be on the safer side of getting a government medical college of repute. To prepare and get those marks, you have to follow some simple steps:

  1. Work on a schedule on what are the broader subjects you are going to study in the next few months
  2. Make a routine of studying the subject which you fear the most.
  3. Although Biology is the main subject in the examination, the key to success lies in performing well in Physics and Chemistry papers.
  4. Start your revisions two months prior to the examination.
  5. Practice mock question papers and different test sets on a regular basis.
  6. Keep track of the time taken to solve the questions while you are practicing sets.
  7. Follow books and online coaching manuals to get an idea as to how the questions are.
  8. Take a self test every week to measure how prepared you are.
  9. Make a list of words and acronyms that you find tricky and practice them regularly.
  10. Shed your fear and go all guns blazing at your examination. Do not attempt questions you are not sure about as negative marks can ruin your chances of getting selected.

First of all, only if you appeared for an examinatio in any year, it would be counted as an attempt for you. Secondly, all candidates from this year onwards will get only three NEET. Thirdly, NEET 2017 will be counted as the first attempt by the aspirant, declared by the Minsitry of Health and Family Welfare on February 3, 2017. So there is nothing to worry about and apply for the exam.
