I am Mohan from 94 batch (MBA - Marketing) sharing my experiences at NIT, Trichy. I am limiting this post more to the learning part and would not talk about the events that happens after the class hours.
The best part about DOMS, NIT, Trichy was the emphasis given on experiential learning. We understand the various marketing concepts fundamentally by linking the same to real life situations. Case studies, seminars and debates dominate the classroom hours, enabling the students to understand the management concepts with a practical orientation. This approach also helps in improving the presentation skills of students.
I hope this approach continues till date in NIT, Trichy. The present batch of students can share their experiences.
