Learning business through water-tight specialisation- is it relevant anymore?

Business cannot be learnt in silos. For instance, for pulling off a great marketing campaign one needs to understand the influence of anthropology, sociology, psychology and economics in the context.

"Thanks to the interdisciplinary learning approach of FLAME University, our MBA students have been able to draw a lot of positives," explains Prof. Dwarika Prasad Uniyal, Dean, Faculty of Business, FLAME University.

The 3rd Marketing Conclave witnessed Entrepreneurs, CEOs, Directors and Sales and Marketing professionals from all across the country assemble at FLAME University to discuss on- "Platform Strategy- A Paradigm Shift."

As Sirisha Tadepalli highlights it- "brands are focusing on urban growth vs. rural growth. It's interesting to understand how companies are collaborating on platforms on the supply chains side to cater to the rural areas and urban areas by completely understanding and analysing the psyche of the customer."

The one day Conclave had 8 speakers and multitude of students discussing technology, geographical limitations, challenges of platform marketing, contemporary practices, cultures, human sentiments pertaining to brands and everything in between!
