1> THE CANDIDATES WHO HAVE APPEARED THE CIVIL SERVICES PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION SINCE 2011 TO 2014 WILL BE GIVEN 3 ADDITIONAL ATTEMPTS IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR AGE. IT IS TO COMPENSATE THEIR LOSS OF ATTEMPTS DUE TO WRONG & PARTIAL EVALUATION CRITERIA IN PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION IN 2011,2012,2013 & IN 2014.   2> THESE ATTEMPTS WILL BE FOR CIVIL SERVICES PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION 2018,2019,2020   3> THE EVALUATION CRITERIA IN PRELIMS WILL BE THE SAME AS ADOPTED IN 2015.   4> AFTER THIS, NO ADDITIONAL ATTEMPT WILL BE PROVIDED FOR APPEARING THE CIVIL SERVICES EXAM FOR ANY REASON.   N:B:  Many bureaucrats says as a candidate become older, it is hard to mold him in training to serve the nation. Therefore they bet for reduction of attempts and age.   1st of all, it is to be remembered that, what the candidates are begging is temporary attempts which they have lost due to faulty process of examination. They are not asking a policy change or pattern change or dilution of the level of examination.   Secondly, why a candidate needs to be molded? If the process of examination is meant to select the right candidates, then what is the need for them to be molded??? That clearly indicates that there is a severe mismatch between what actually our nation needs and what type of candidates are selected.    We strongly believe that if a person has right attitude and desire to serve the people then nothing can change him/her. The question is whether he has the ability to compete or not.             Ԓ
