Hi All,

I have applied to few universities in US and rejected from two.
I am planning to apply to few more in this 2 weeks.

Please suggest good universities for MBA for my profile

GMAT 550
TOEFL 101
work ex 4 yrs as SAP Consulatnt
GPA 3.8

The only drawback in my profile is my GMAT.
Please suggest universities where there is a good chnace with my GMAT.

This is the list I am left with the deadlines. Please suggest if I can go with any of these with my profile.

Madison School of Business, University of Wisconsin, Madison
Boston College (Carroll)
Mendoza College of Business, University of Notre Dame (IN)
University of California at Irvine: Merage
Purdue University: Krannert
Thunderbird School of Global Management
University of Minnesota: Carlson
University of Florida: Hough
University of Washington Business School: Foster
Case Western Reserve University: Weatherhead
University of California: Davis
Brigham Young University: Marriott

If you have any other universities in mind for US, UK or Australia with deadlines left please suggest.

Thank you,
Karishma Kadivar.

Even I am interested in Iowa University(Tippie)

GMAT 630
TOEFL:112
5 years IT exp by 2010 fall.
10th 9%
12th 81
Bachelors(CS):63%
Masters (CS):79%
Gender:female
Worked with 2 of the top US based MNCs in IT
Extra curriculars:decent
lnterested in: general management/consulting

Few questions :
1.Is my profile good for Tippie? What do they look for?
2.Are there enough scholarships for international students?
3.do they offer loans without cosigner for international students?

u will really have to tell me more abt u.
work-ex, GPA, extra-curriculars. if u are good at them, then a low GMAT score may be overlooked.

considering u have 600 GMAT score, i wld recommend:
1) Univ of Iowa (Tippie)
2) UIUC (univ of illinois, urbana champaign)
3) Rice

These 3 schools dont have a very high GMAT requirement, and if u work well on yr application, these are really good schools to get into with that score.

If u plan to do MBA, u shd not think as much on the finance part. It is a constraint for 90% of people on this forum. Loans are available, and if u work hard in yr program u shd be able to make a great return on yr investments!

No No No... dont go there for MBA.

I am an Iowa State undergrad.. did my BS in computer engineering from there. It is a great engineering school, but sucks for business school,
consider its rival school - univ of iowa. much better b-school that iowa state.

if u are planning MS, then iowa state is a good school.
