congrats!!!

Awesome news..I guess the international salary offered is on par with offers that internationally reputed B-School graduates get.
Wouldn't be surprised if these guys r members of PG. If they r, Congrats guys..Way to go!

the news is awesome.
Actually had ii known that the guy whom i saw strolling in the gardens of IIMB when i had gone for a fun trip to a friend's room would be this one...i would hv taken his autograph then and there.
well...he was making news even before this came up so i am not surprised!!:)
congrats gaurav!!!

I read elsewhere that IIM B too would start that one year degree by 2006...
Is this going to really happen??? IIM B guys investigate this for us folks yaar!!!
Ofcourse I hope they dont come up with 7 years experience minimum etc...
Hmm... IIM C also is talking about this isnt it...
The one year suits me best... I am absolutely incapable of studying two years in a row...

The ET had it in today's edition here --> http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/articleshow/1226389.cms
WTG B'lore

Did both have prior work-ex like Ravi Singhvi, nothing mentioned in the news, it only mentions only abt Gaurav completing his MS from Berkeley n then doing this summers with this bank
Yep they have workex....thats the reason why they have bagged such fairly senior level offers. Both of them have around 4 yrs work ex in the US. Coincidentally Gaurav is rank 1 in our batch and Venkatesh is rank 2 in our batch!!!!!!

I think we should wait for placement season 2006 to end at IIM A,C and ISB before we declare IIM B the winner...
But the indian salary is shocking!!! 30Lakhs!!
IIMB could soon beat IIMA... weather Not too hot... Booze bindaas... slightly less slogging...
Sounds better to me...
