Anyone attended a IESE event before? Thanks
IESE has been ranked as a top ranked school in various surveys. IESE has increased the number of sections. IESE has not released the placement report for the class of 2012. Till 2011 there used to be around 14 Indians in the class. From 2012 the number of desi candidates has increased to 25-30. From a search in Linkedin one can find at least 10 to 12 candidates are still searching for jobs. IESE MBA is very costly. Fees and living expenses can cost around E100000 which is around RS 75 lacs. Unless one gets a job in UK or Europe or Middle East or Singapore it will be well neigh impossible to pay the loan and recover the investment. With the downturn in UK and Europe many MBAS including Europeans and Britishers are looking to Far East and Middle East for jobs. My information is Indian MBAS are finding it difficult to get good jobs. Moreover IESE does not have a brand recognition in Asia. So before applying to any business school in Europe or UK, I have to consider this.
