Capgemini is more or less like any other big IT companies in India. It totally depends on what technology or what project you get into. Overall its a good company. It has a nice friendly and relaxed work culture. Annually salary hikes are in the range of 6-10% which is a little less if u stay for 3 years and over. Just hope that u get into a nice technology which is doing good in the market as it will definitely brighten your prospects of landing a high paying job 2-3 years down the line. Cheers.
Ok! For a second I was confused whether this is a thread for capgemini consulting (The consulting division of Capgemini- also known as CC) or capgemini IT (CG). It seems people are here talking about the Capgemini IT. Don`t have much idea about it but it`s like a normal IT company with shitty work culture and low pay. But life is chilled with long bench periods for freshers. At least that`s what I have seen in Mumbai. The good thing is the decent brand name.
Any comprehensive reviews on Capgemini India? Got an offer, 3.1LPA. Any idea about joining in 2013?

i have been placed in infy and capgemini india... in two minds about which one to go for.
a bit inclined towards infy coz of its training program which i have heard in awesome.
but pros for cg india include its worldwide reputation.
one more thing , is cg india as reputed as capgemini ? does it offer the same career growth...plzz help

i am myself an infoscion and i fully accept that quality of training in MYSORE DC is like WORLD CLASS.... and in parallel CAPGEMINI INDIA( having same brand image as CAPGEMINI) is considered as a great company to work with... my question to u is
1) Are u giving CAT/XAT next year??? if yes than enjoy ur life at infy for next 1- 1.5 years.. leave CG
2) If not then definately CAPGEMINI brand is much better than infy.... and to add CAPGEMINI to ur resume will definately enhance value to ur software career..
