hi Friends

This is Geetika Here.i am new to this forum.Well I have completed my graduation From Ramjas College,DU(commerce stream) this year only and now I would seriouuusly looking forward to make my career in HR as I can see my own interest is in this field.
For this I have talked to some cnsultants who have guided me regarding what is there in this career also I have done some net surfing about it so I came to a conclusion for giving M.A. in HR from TISS this year..as this is one of the premier institute specialising in HR and Labour relations and also my own inclination towards this institute.

But the problem is that I dont know how to go through it..i mean I know the Exam paper is quite easy that I can prepare on my own..but the most important part is GD and PI where the chances of elimination are high as the seats are few..Plus I am just a fresher not having any experience and certification in HR also..so For the next 6 months I should have a well chart out plan of How to utilise these 6 months..whether I should take up a job or an internship rit nw or I should work in an NGO(as this would give me enough exposure)..I have these few options to strengthn my background so that at the time of GD and PI ,I can have an edge over other students..Is this the Right Option according to you all or else what should i do? Please reply soon..m waiting.

Your plan seems quite on track- I would suggest joining some HR firm/consultancy or HR department in some org...NGO would also give u enough exposure, and you can specifically look into the people issues there- which u can showcase in the PIs
