poorva, sales nd mktg in bank does not involve travel alwys. u can work as a personal banker sitting inside the bank and selling/transactions etc. u can wrk ur way to core fin if u get sufficient knowledge in fin by doing CFA or similaar course in future. just make a shift and then you can work out the options.

poorva, what kind of career you are looking at. with your background and diploma you may get a decent job as personal banker or fin services sales/mktg in a bank or fin institution. look for career openings in ICICI bank, ABn amro, hdfc bank, uti etc. job will be more mktg and relationship oriented with basic knowledge of financial products and services.
you can grow vertically as mgr thereafter or horizontally in other areas in a bank. pvt banks prefer sales based candidates.
