dhiraj, i dont have any background in military logistics. i know from gen reading nd history channel, discovery etc. case studies may be available in ECCH but only ur prof may get access to those. giving a list of generic sites. dig in for more and related info.

dhiraj, start with the history. you will get a lot of mater on logistics elated issues in google. start with Alexander, crusades, babur, lord clive etc and boil down to WW-I & II. logistics & scm became spl focus reas research using Oprns research only sometimes during WW-II. also u can include early ver of coms used.
follow up by developments in technologies, tools, models as we progressed. look at bharat-rakshak for info on indian mil. also look at US mil & AF for transportation & SCM. look at web sites of US mil/naval colleges for courses nd research on the topic. you can get growth of logistics nd scm in mil/war and then expand it period wise say in BC (alexander etc), middle ages, modern age nd use of comp/telecom, future trends and so on.



hey, thnks a lot bizskool for d reply 😃 ..it will really help..from ur post u appear to be a litlle learned in dis topic, so jst wantd to ask in case u r aware of any books or particular websites/links/e-books which will have detailed info on dis coz on google a lot of things are theory based, whereas my topic also requires certain case studies and relevant examples..nd also d thing dat u said abt us mil sites, i did speak to my prof regarding dis..bt he is of the view dat such info is very confidential nd on those sites i will only get general info..bt lets just hope i cn gt smthing poductive..anyways, thanks again nd in case u have any further info, plz post nd help...

hey gaurav, first of all thanks for d early reply nd also d piece of advice dat u gave me..will keep dat in mind next time ..as far as d project goes, really dint hv 2 much of a choice regarding the topic..neways, i have been tryin hard at finding matter at google bt i m not able to figure out wat to include and hw do i define d scope of d project ??: ..so wantd sm1 to cm forward nd help me out in this respect in case sm1 dealt wid smthn similar or if i cud possibly gt a project fr refrence..lets just hope i cn figure out smthn..i case u have any info related to the project plz lemme knw..thanks again..
