I have a Doubt!!!
Currently I am working as an Analyst for a Global Insurance and Reinsurance company and want to know that after passing FRM part 1 & 2 papers,
1. Are we atleast recognised as FRM's or do we have to show the 2 yrs experience before we can use the term and apply to jobs accordingly. (For eg - A lot of guys do put in their CV as passed CFA level 1 & 2 exams and leverage them to get an advantage)
2. If we have an experience of 2 yrs in a different field like in Insurance and not in a risk profile can we use it to fulfill the two years of experience required to get the certification.
Please revert back ASAP! Thanks in advance.

Lockdown and its impact on suppressing pollution and environmental enhancement
by GEC WRITHLON
The relationship between the man and the environment co exists from the initial periods.
Humans survive in the laps of nature and continuously interact with it. Nature influences in the form of air that we breathe, the food and water that we consume and also the energy which is flowed. However changes or disturbances made in the external environment not only pose harmful effects but also prove to be devastating in terms of community sustainability.
The multiple societal base structures like religious, agricultural, industrial, aesthetics have been budding during versatile phases of human civilization and these structures represent that human beings gathered cultural resources based on nature. Since decades man (population explosion) has been the source of environmental destruction for meeting its need of urbanization, technological sophistication, industrialization, commercialization and globalization which consequently gave rise to environmental degradation and ecological imbalance which left remark upon the whole world.
These issues cover major concerns like global warming, ozone layer depletion, greenhouse effect, melting glaciers, rising sea level, deforestation, rising pollution, climate change, resource depletion, acid rain, urban sprawl, desertification, loss of bio diversity, water crises, ocean and costal threats, shrinking wet lands, habitat destruction, and lot more.

HOW DANGEROUS VIRUSES ARE? Humans are fighting viruses since before human species had even evolved into its modernized form. For a couple of viral diseases, vaccines and antiviral drugs have allowed us to remain infections from spreading widely, and have helped sick people recover. For one disease smallpox we've been able to eradicate it, ridding the earth of latest cases. But we're an extended way from winning the fight against viruses. In recent times, several viruses have shifted from animals to humans and riggeredserious outbreaks, effecting thousands of lives. The viral strain that drove the 2014-2016 Ebola outbreaks in West Africa kills up to 90% of the people it infects, making it the foremost lethal member of the Ebola family. But there are other viruses out there that are equally deadly, and a couple of that are even deadlier. Severe viruses, such as the novel covid-19 currently driving outbreaks around the world, still pose a big threat to human health as we don't yet have the means to combat them. Viruses can infect every living thing -- from plants and animals right right down to the tiniest bacterium. It’s because of this reason; they have the potential to be dangerous to human life
Learning is a procedure that-produces changes in the conduct (behaviour) of the person. These conduct changes happen because of encounters (practice). These changes can take any direction. These conduct changes are generally perpetual. This means that these changes are not completely permanent or are they altogether temporary or permanent. These conduct changes are called learning. An individual learns and establishes harmonious alteration with the earth. This is the genuine significance of learning https://gecwrithlon.blogspot.com/2020/03/concept-of-learning.html?m=1
LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT What’s Leadership?? It is the power of a private or a gaggle of people to influence and guide followers or other members of a corporation. While creating and articulating a clear vision or providing followers with the knowledge and establishing achievable goals, Leadership involves making sound -- and sometimes difficult – decisions. As said by Keith Davis, “Leadership is the ability to influence others to seek defined objectives passionately. Human factor can only bind a group together and motivates it towards goals.” The modern leadership movement is predicated upon the principle that leaders aren’t born, they’re made. The arts of leadership and management, like all cultivated skills, are learned and honed by practice over time regardless of where you reside. We usually consider the two terms Leadership and management as synonymous. We must understand that leadership is an essential part of effective management. Being the crucial component of management, remarkable leadership behavior stresses upon building an environment during which each and each employee develops and excels. Leadership is about getting people to grasp and believe the vision you set for the corporate and to figure with you on achieving your goals, while management is more about administering and ensuring the day-to-day activities are happening as they ought to. A manager must have traits of a innovator, i.e., he must possess leadership qualities. Leaders develop and start strategies that build and sustain competitive advantage. For an optimal efficiency in any organization Both Leadership and management have to be robust. MANAGERS vs. LEADERS We have Managers who Give Directions where as on the other hand Leaders ask questions. If Managers have subordinates then Leaders have followers. When Managers use a controlling style, there Leaders has a motivational style. While Managers tell what to do, Leaders demonstrate what to do. Managers provides with good ideas which are then implemented by leaders. Managers respond to change when Leaders generate change Managers aim to be heroes Leaders formulate heroes of everyone around them Managers train power over people Leaders build up power with people “LEADERSHIP IS ABOUT STIMULATING AND MANAGEMENT IS ABOUT SETTING UP”
Work from home: Challenges n prospectus:- Flexible workplace: To the extent possible, the employer should rotate its staff, reduce the number of people who need to be in the office, and try to implement a "work from home" policy for those employees who can manage their duties remotely. Also, if any employee expresses concern in attending the office, the employer should try and mitigate the employee's concern, failing which the employee should be permitted to work from home, if possible. But many challenge face a employer work at home: Another challenge faced by the financial services industry is that cash is still the primary means of payment. Managing ATMs and maintaining them cannot be done from home. Cash logistics is another challenge because replenishing ATMs with cash requires the employees to be present onsite. Despite these hurdles, organisations & teams have coped up very well during this lockdown period by ensuring continuity of service & cash across India. Security is also a concern. The finance industry, by its nature, stores valuable information about clients. While such data is secure in an office, when it is accessed at home, the chance that it might fall into the wrong hands increases significantly. Most home-based networks are not as secure as those in offices; hence data stored on home computers has a higher likelihood of falling into the hands of cybercriminals. Furthermore, data stored at home is vulnerable because visitors or family members may find and misuse it. This is a severe challenge. Another challenge faced by the financial services industry is that social distancing measures have made it extremely difficult for Feet On Street (FOS) to attract new merchants. Also, other critical functions like treasury, risk assessments etc. are difficult to execute from home. Client meetings at home are neither recommended nor appropriate. For financial services professionals, meeting clients at home does not help bridge the trust deficit that arises when face to face meetings in offices are impossible. The consensus view is that a house is not an environment where professionals strike deals. While employees have often worked from home in the past, companies as a whole are still adapting to this new mandate since the lockdown announcement. Companies need to become better prepared to execute Business Continuity Plans during emergencies. The infrastructure necessary for BCPs needs to be put in place. Employees need to be oriented to work from home. At the same time, employers also need to trust their employees that they will work with the same efficiency from home as they do in the office and have confidence that the data shared with them will remain secure. https://gecwrithlon.blogspot.com/2020/04/influence-of-lock-down-on-economy.html?m=1
