GOOD PROBLEM:


A superheterodyne receiver operates in the frequency range of 58-68 MHz. The intermediate frequency and local oscillator frequencies are choosen such that Fif<=Flo. It is required that the image frequencies fall outside the 58-68MHz band. The minimum required Fif is???????????????

incoming signal frequency fs=58-68MHz. fsi(image freq)=fs+2fi ; 58M+2fi>=68M ==>fi>=5Mhz

In an 8085 system, a PUSH operationrequires more clock cycles than a POP operation. Which of the following is correct reason for this?

For POP, the data tranciever remains in the same direction as for instruction fetch(memory to processor) , whereas for PUSH their direction has to be reversed.
Memory write operations are slower than memory read operations.
The stack pointer needs to be pre-decremented before writing registers in a PUSH. Whereas a POP operation uses the address already in the stack pointer.
Order of the registers has to be interchanged for a PUSH operation. Whereas POP uses their natural order.
