have a question regarding AICTE approval , as the program is not approved since SOIL choose not to get it approved , so won't the students face issues while switching companies after they get placed from SOIL.

Hi Puys.

I have been shortlisted for SOIL's BLP. I have one doubt about placements, which is, do companies prefer candidates with work ex from reputed organizations to the other ones??

I have work ex of 2 years and 8 months. I have worked in a small IT consultancy. So is this going to affect my candidature during the placements?? Will the candidates with less than or more than my work ex but who have worked in MNCs be given preference over me?? And will the same be applicable to placement package too??

Thank You.

@shefalib Regarding your concerns with AICTE Approval, I would like to take your attention to the fact that no 1 yr MBA program is AICTE Approved. Not even ISB,Hyd.
AICTE gives approval to colleges who meets their rules and curriculum. If you notice the curriculum by SOIL is unique and different . There is lot of learning and personal grooming involved.
Its based on 5 Pillars-

Ethics, Mindfulness, Compassion, Sustainability and Diversity

@shefalib Hi, Regarding placements , I would request you to check the placement records of past years as 5-6 companies interviewed each student and a total of 85 companies visited for the placement of 105 students and almost all of them till now are placed.

Yes the college is not AICTE approved which makes college free to set the Curriculum according to the industry standards and need to follow the old Govt Curiculum ,as whatever is the demand of the market, the curriculum is created by the consortium of 32 companies in that way only..Like ISB Hyderabad and ISB Mohali has the freedom to do so.

@Sunny.123456 The values ike compassion comes from the faculty which gives their 100% in the every students' individual growth as informed you about mentorship program, they work on the weaknesses to comvert them into strengths and grilling a person to make a better Coporate and a better human for sure.

The positive environment and so much peaceful vibes from current batch and passed out batches as I have had discussion with many people from SOIL makes me feel good .
