Hi Guys, My friend is an OBC but he is very rich... are there any conditions wherein he can be stopped to apply in reserved category just bacoz he is rich.....is there something called as maximum parent's income or something like that.. ...

Not sure whether category and income are always taken into consideration but yes the situation prevalent is that category / income level are treated as mutually exclusive.

AFAIK our system currently does not differentiate reserved students as per the income levels except for the creamy layer criteria that takes some of the income levels into account but for those from the middle-higher/higher income unfortunately there is no so criteria.

Pal, please be specific....Where does your friend intend to apply??
As far i know there are know restriction on income!!
Only thing i like about stone in my path is, when I cross them, they become my milestones!
