After getting 16 wrong in section 2 in SimCat 8 in the afternoon, just had to take another mock today. And a very satisfying performance, specially considering the time of the day I took this one at

QA = 15,2 = 43 = 99.9 %ile
DI = 15,4 = 41 = 97.9 %ile
VA = 17,3 = 48 99.8 %ile
OA = 47,9 = 132 = 99.96 %ile

@Naga25french

actually i didn't understand the part why

number of non negative integral solution :

C(n + r - 1 , r -1 )

@naga25french

can u explain this part of the solution?

number of non negative integral solution :

C(n + r - 1 , r -1 )

here n = 20 , r = 2

so c(22,2) = 11*21 = 231

normal combination formula

n C r = n!/ r! (n-r)!

i am jus substituting the required values over there

Q.1
What is the total number of ways of selecting twenty balls from an infinite number of blue, green and yellow balls?

can anyone explain, how they reached the solution.

we have to select 20 balls .. there are three kinds of balls ..

a +b + c = 20

number of non negative integral solution :

C(n + r - 1 , r -1 )

here n = 20 , r = 2

so c(22,2) = 11*21 = 231
