After seeing so many scores, i think this precisely sums up cat 15: 1. Slot 1 guys were kind of screwed in VA 2. Slot 2 guys were screwed real bad in lrdi.
Cat 2015:-92.07(General) . Bcom (appearing in 2016)(institute of distance and open learning, University of mumbai):-69.46 . Currently working as a trainee in usher agro ltd(full time) from 01/08/2014-present. Entered 12 month work experience in Cat application form . Now, I got shortlisted for IIM-Shillong. But, after reading its admission policy which says that work experience only after completing bachelor degree should be entered. I suspect that I can be disqualified straight away! Please help all suggestions are welcome
I want to understand the normalization done ACROSS SECTIONS in Cat 2015.
Currently, I observe scaled scores of VARC are on the higher side w.r.t other two sections given a same percentile in all sections. Total scaled score is a simple summation of the individual scaled score and percentile is derived on top of that. Where does it capture the normalization for difficulty of individual section? By simply adding scaled scores flat, essentially VARC received the highest weightage. Please correct me if I am worng. Appreciate a revert.
Puys who appeared for AIMCATs(TIME) may be able to relate with my query better as TIME used to scale scores as per difficulty level too.
Just saw my CAT 2015 Score card
OA - 84.47
QA - 92.04
VA - 45.63
SLOT - 2
Guys any1 feel that, there has been no normalisation done?.. Did the scaled score was more or less than the expected raw score. If there is a very small deviation, there is a good chance that there may be a problem with normalisation..
Hey when can we expect the sectional cutoffs? I thought i did good in QA but I got less than what i've expected!
If anyone faced issues during CAT 2015.. Please comment on..
Koi meri bhi expected percentile btado bhai
DI LR : 53
Both these checked from CL keys
VA 55-70 ( CL keys nt available for many questions. So just assuming 50% accuracy in them)
