Hi all,

This thread is mainly for those guys who are pursuing marketing management or are interested in doing so or who are already in the corporate world in this field.Lets share our views on various opportunities available, topics of marketing and whatever comes to your mind regarding marketing.

To start with, I will share a small thought on marketing consulting.

Marketing consultants are in demand because of their scalable temporary high powered expertise. A consulting professional is trained to in tune with the latest developments in the marketplace. At any point of time they have their finger on the pulse of the customer needs. Business marketing consultants know what customers are thinking because thats their business, and they can use this knowledge to score huge dividends for your business. Clients utilize their expertise in managing cross functional, cross cultural teams and building strategic partnerships and strong, profitable customer relationships.Guerrilla marketing strategy and tactics takes marketing to a higher level. Guerillas use their time, energy, creativity and knowledge to maximize return on marketing dollars. Guerilla marketing can overcome the obstacles that many consultants face:

Clients growing cynicism, todays new buying environment etc.Since clients are more apt to act on the opinions of people they trust, consultants must build their marketing programs around champions who will create positive
buzz throughout the invisible networks that are filled with potential clients. The object of guerilla marketing is to build and maintain profitable relationships, not merely to get clients.
