Our Undergraduate Accelerator program is designed to ensure a smooth transition from education system in your home country to a university in the United States. This program combines credit-bearing courses from the first year of your degree with additional academic support, English-language instruction, and cultural experiences. Together, all these elements of the program combine to create a learning-centered environment, which promotes academic success, active involvement in campus and community life. Three type of Accelerator programs are:

- Integrated Accelerator Program (IAP): IAP is a two-semester program designed specifically for international students with an advanced level of English-language proficiency who also want the academic, cultural, professional, and linguistic support that they need to thrive at Auburn University. The program features a robust advising and mentorship component as well as access to courses that will shape the foundation of your Auburn career.

- Academic Accelerator Program (AAP): AAP is a two-semester program designed specifically for students who are ready to succeed in immersive English-speaking classrooms, but who also want the benefit of English-language and student support that will help them thrive. The program curriculum offers a balance of university-wide and AAP-exclusive courses, with English-language course supplements that equip students with the practical, subject-specific vocabulary and skills that they need to excel in their coursework.

- Extended Accelerator Program (EAP): EAP is a three-semester program for students seeking an immersive English-learning experience. The program gives students a first-hand practical and cultural understanding of the Auburn University campus and the Auburn, Alabama, area through its contextual curriculum.

Upon completion of the program, student will progress into year two of their undergraduate education with a full year’s worth of academic credits.
