Helloooooooooo

Thanks a ton for your reply, it really helped.

Hi siddhant,
I can assure you, or for that matter anyone else who is in doubt that they will not regret joining the Msc(CA) course at SICSR. Every single student who has completed this course at SICSR will agree with me that SICSR students tend to do really well in their jobs compared to even the best of the computer engineers from the best of engineering colleges.
But again, your success totally depends on how you make use of this opportunity. There are no fixed time tables in this college and lectures happen at 6 pm in the evenings or even on sundays. Sometimes you have a lecture at 8 in the morning and no lectures untill 3 pm. The point being that this college is nothing like any of the colleges you've been to before. But again, if you make the most of what this course offers, you will find yourself in a very strong position once you graduate from this college.
A lot of my classmates complained about the Msc(CA) course at SICSR because of the irregularities in the timings. But as far as the learning is concerned, this is the best place to be for anyone who wants to be an IT professional.
Join this course if you want practical knowledge rather than bookish knowledge. And I'll repeat myself again, placements are 99% student driven.
Good luck with your decision.

Check the site for placement record. Since the last 3 years, they have managed to have an average package between 5.2 to 5.8 LPA and it is continuously improving. Since you have workex you will have a better edge on placements (you can expect between 5.5-6.5 LPA). Also ROI point of view this is a decent option. Since their intake is vey less (approx 90), placement percentage is good (nearly 80-85 students got placed considering last 3 yrs data). Since it comes under the Symbiosis umbrella, it will be a decent option to consider if you want to do MBA in IT.
