In this question, shouldn't the range be -117 to -13

Coz if x lies between 16 and 81, then sqrt(x) lies between either -4 and -9 or 4 and 9. They haven't considered the possibility where sqrt(x) is -9.

if the 'symbol' of sqrt is used, then we have to take +ve value only.

@kaustavt dude..sqrt is +ve always..sqrt(4)=2 always but if its like x^2=4 then x is +2, -2 (there is this difference between square and square root)
