i couldn't understand the 1st question at all as in what do they mean by base over here??.i know of base only in the context of logarithms.please help

For question 30 of section 2 i fell the answer should be option 2

Reason:

sentence a : year starts with monday.

for normal year there will be 52*7 weeks + the last day which here is a tuesday.

hence total number of tuesdays= 53

for leap year again we get 53 tuesdays

sentence b:

in both cases we get 52 tuesdays.

please point out error if any.

If 1st day is Monday , or 2nd day is tuesday ........

We know the 359th day will be tuesday

now the next tuesday will be on 366th day

so year is not a leap year there will be (359-2)/7 + 1 = 52 tuesdays

if year is leap year then there will be (366-2)/7 + 1 = 53 tuesdays
