The vision and mission of the Incubation Centre are given below:

Vision: To provide a research based platform for incubation across disciplines so that NCU students are able to innovate and invent software solutions and apps and use their full potential to meet their entrepreneurial dreams, thus ultimately serving the industry and the society.

Mission:

  • To usher in emerging and disruptive software and app technology and provide an enabling eco-system so that students are able to innovate and invent software and app solutions using advance technology tools.
  • To mentor selected students on their unique projects by deploying industry experts and faculty members passionate in research from the NorthCap University.
  • To undertake the seed funded projects to a level of scalability and adoption by the industry/society.
  • To secure further funding by the Angel Investors and venture capitalists and the other investment sources for the scaled up operational growth if needed.
  • To imbibe confidence in students to be your entrepreneur partners with leading IT companies.

 The NorthCap University Incubation Centre was established on 26 April 2017. The purpose of establishing Incubation Centre is to help students incubate new innovative ideas through facilitating skills like Creative Thinking, Problem Solving and Data Generation. The objective is to help students to float project and incubating ideas through industry participation and University augmentation. Currently, projects and industry problems related to a start-up company, City Innovates Pvt. Ltd., Gurugram has been taken up and the company is our main funding partner. University has also identified several student projects to incubate further through a University internal Technovation.

  At SOL you can choose to be a part of the Recruitment Co-ordination Committee – a student-run body responsible for internships and placements of law students. The School facilitates the allotment of internship opportunities to all its students. Our students intern and work closely with prominent Supreme Court lawyers, Government organisations, public prosecutors, law firms of repute, eminent lawyers practicing in various High Courts and District Courts and in prominent NGOs specializing in public interest litigations. After graduating from SOL we support you for your placement with reputed law firms. A student, Satyarth (Class of 2018) bagged three job offers with leading organizations across the country with the highest CTC offered to graduate/post-graduate from the University. Lawyers can also work as legal advisors in companies, public sector undertakings, NGOs, legal process outsourcing (LPO). By clearing exams conducted by Public Service Commissions, a law graduate can become a judge. Moreover, The NorthCap University has established a central office with the name School of Professional Attachment (SPA) to provide assistance for internship through out the year and placement after completion of the degree programme.  Laboratories at NCU: 

The Department holds various state-of-the art laboratories like; Physics Lab, Chemistry lab, Maths Lab, which are made available to the students to take their laboratory experience to a whole new level. Higher education opportunities: Some of our students have got admission in reputed National/International institutions and Universities like IIT Chennai, IIT Kanpur, Georgia State University etc., through competitive exams. Research and PhD: More than 30 research scholars are pursuing their PhD in various emerging areas of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The research laboratories are equipped with world class equipments like SEM, UV-VIS-NIR Spectroscope, L-C-R Meter, Holography set up etc. The department has received funding from various funding agencies like DST, DRDO etc. More than 50 research papers per year are published by various faculty members of the Department in International journals of repute.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in  Mathematics (Hons.) (3 years) Minimum Eligibility Criteria
  • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate (with English and Mathematics as compulsory subjects) at the 12th level from any recognized Board with at least 50% marks in Mathematics.
  • 15% intake will be allocated for Children/Wards of NRI / International students. Unfilled seats in this category will be transferred to the resident Indian category and shall be filled on merit.
