@ssp1714 yes..either both will be positive or both will be -ve so why one +ve and other -ve

|y|+5 is always positive. So only |y|-2 has to be non negative  for z to be  non negative.

Q55 or Q21 of DI LR section (based on CUBES). Can anyone clearly explain the approach. I am not able to get the official given solution.

Can you give your opinion how is it ? and i have been stuck with the score around 120 for last 3 AIMCATS !!! Guys need your help how to reach break this barrier.

Wow, you have such good scores in LR. I can recommend you how to tackle VA (my strong section). I used to score abysmally low in verbal, but I started reading aldaily.com and Hindu editorials daily from the past 2 months, and my improvement in RC has been nothing short of a miracle. I used to be skeptical at first too! Apart from that, for solving Parajumbles, there is a very popular post on Pagalguy regarding the rules and tips to tackle PJs. Very effective. Try finding that or I will post that link soon enough. Could you tell me how you rock the LR DI section though? Especially AIMCAT 1818. Help a damsel in distress, would you? ;)

@Minakshimaity thanks for the suggestion . As per LR/DI goes , i can suggest you short and simple idea which i followed 1.) Stop solving the question blindly think before you do any calculation that is it required 2.) Choose the sets that you are confident this is the key 3.) Go for accuracy rather than no of attempts . and finally 4.) Practise Practise and Practise :) FYI i used to score very less in DI ::(
