Congrats to all the people who made it to IIMK.
But being an alumnus, I would like to give an advice to all those people who have done 10th and 12th from boards which are notorious for giving lower marks (Ex. U.P. board).
You are going to suffer majorly during summers and final placements as companies use 10th and 12th percentages for shortlisting. Dont expect them to know all these granularities. In your self-interest, please insist on including the normalized percentages or percentiles in the summers and final CVs. You can ask IIMK to provide these as these would have been used during the selection process.
There will be a pushback from students of other boards and IIMK authorities but you must fight it. After all, why should you lose for no fault of yours.
