Established in 1993 by the Vignana Jyothi Educational Society, a non-profit organisation formed by a cadre of Industrialists, Academicians, Businessmen, NRI’s, and Professionals from Andhra Pradesh, Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM) has gained recognition for the commendable achievements of its founders in various fields. Candidates have the option to apply through either offline or online modes during the specified application period set by the institute. The application fee is INR 1000, and there are two methods for submitting applications:

Online Mode:

Visit the institute's website and navigate to the 'Admission Procedure' tab.
Complete the online application form by providing the required information.
Upload scanned copies of all necessary supporting documents and submit the form.
Proceed to make the online payment of the INR 1,000 application fee using Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking.

Offline Mode:

Obtain the application form from the VJIM campus by making a cash payment or download it from the website.
Fill out the application form and submit it, along with the required enclosures, either in person or by post.

Amphitheater

The Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management Hyderabad has a unique open-air amphitheater in green surroundings spread across all directions. It provides an enriching learning experience to the students in a natural, green environment. The seating layout is learning-friendly and comfortable. It is used for academic outdoor activities and by students for peer interactions and discussions.

Auditorium

The Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management Hyderabad has a state of art auditorium fully furnished and air-conditioned, it is equipped with a modern LCD projector and audio system. It is used as a venue for national and international conferences, workshops, seminars, and events.

Class Rooms

All classrooms are fully ICT-enabled to support and encourage the learning atmosphere. All the classrooms are laid out as galleries equipped with workstations, revolving chairs, green boards, whiteboards, pin-up boards for notifications, wall cupboards, wall clocks, air conditioners, and fans. An adequate number of plug points is provided for laptop charging for all students.

All classrooms are connected through Wi-Fi for internet access on a 24/7 basis. LCD projectors, wide screens, audio-video systems, collar mikes, hand mikes, cordless mikes are provided for effective classroom teaching using Audio Video equipment.

Communication Hub

The Multimedia Communication Skills Lab is a highly interactive learning tool with a focus on the language requirements of the students in today‘s competitive world. Along with the practice in English, a phonetics facility has been created for activities such as Role Play, Group Discussions, Mock Interviews, and other confidence-enhancing activities. The staff of Computer Lab capture the activities of the students on video and play them back with the purpose of evaluating and guiding the students to achieve professionally acceptable communication.

VJIM has a well-equipped Language Lab to enable the students to improve their Business communication skills. In addition, with English as the primary language of communication, the students can also learn other popular languages like German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, and Arabic on a self-learning mode with the help of Lingo Fx25 software. The learning component included in the packages are,

Library

The library has 15000+ books and is open from 8.00 A.M- 8.00 P.M six days a week. Digital library facility is also an added feature of the library. The experienced staff is always ready to assist the faculty and the students to quench their thirst for knowledge.

Hostel

Living on VJIM Hyderabad campus is one of the key contributors to an intensive and effective learning experience. Staying in the hostel helps develop group dynamics among the students and teaches them to adapt to different socio-cultural environments.

VJIM has a well-designed state-of-the-art hostel both for boys and girls within 1 Km radius of the institute. The rooms are well furnished with basic amenities. The facilities provided in the hostel give the students a homely atmosphere that strengthens the sense of belonging. The common living area facilitates team-based work beyond classroom learning fostering camaraderie.

Technology never stops evolving at VJIM ―Being connected and not wired is the new theme. The hostel is wi-fi enabled and provides internet access through a 20 MBPS leased line. The VJIM Hyderabad campus-wide network is based on 1000 MBPS Ethernet technology. Students can access the internet from any part of the campus and hostel. Separate recreational facilities are provided to the students like a cricket pitch, badminton court, gym yoga facilities, etc. on the hostel premises. A doctor is available on call, a transport facility is provided to commute to and fro from hostel to campus, and an outing is provided biweekly on weekdays and on every Sunday.

Canteen

The Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management Hyderabad is equipped with a spacious canteen well organised and nutritious breakfast, lunch, and tea are provided with a mix of delicious North and South Indian cuisine. Utmost care is taken to maintain high standards of nutrition and hygiene. A variety of refreshments and snacks can also be purchased from the cafeteria. An ample seating facility is available for the students and faculty and charging points are provided for students to work with their laptops during their free time other than lunchtime. The menu is planned by the student committee.

Sports and Gymnasium

The sports facilities provided at VJIM are one of the best in the country with a sprawling sports ground, facilities for different games including international standard tennis courts, basketball courts, football ground, squash, billiards, TT, and other indoor games.

Institute organises an annual inter-college sports fest “KRITANSH” where students from various B-Schools participate.

VJIM supports its students to participate in several other inter-college competitions held in other B-Schools.

Q. Where can I acquire the prospectus and application form?

Ans. The prospectus, handbook, or e-brochure of information for Admissions can be downloaded from the website (www.vjim.edu.in). They are also available at all the PI centers on the scheduled dates and at VJIM, Hyderabad. Upon request, the prospectus can be sent to the candidate by post after the payment of the application fee.

Q. Does VJIM base the selection solely on cut-off scores in CAT/XAT/GMAT for the second stage (PI)?

Ans. Yes, for Admissions 2024, students will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview based on their Entrance Exam Scores. Final selection involves consideration of academic records, CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT scores, professional qualifications, work experience, diversity, and performance in the personal interview.

Q. Does VJIM facilitate educational loans for students?

Ans. All banks in India readily grant educational loans to students based on our offer letters. Selected students can directly approach any of the Nationalised/Private Sector Banks for an educational loan. HDFC Credila is associated with VJIM for providing educational loans.

Q. Is a Personal Interview part of the admission criteria?

Ans. As part of the admission process, all candidates will undergo an interview.

Q. Does VJIM guarantee placements? What can graduates of PGDM expect in terms of placements?

Ans. No, VJIM does not guarantee placements. However, the Training and Placements Office makes every effort to assist students in finding and securing ideal career opportunities.
