IIM Indore Admission 2024

Admissions for IIM Indore’s EPGP program in 2024 are currently open, and the deadline for Phase 1 applications is November 30, 2023. Additionally, applications for IIM Indore’s GMPE program in 2024 have commenced, with the last date for submission being December 15, 2023. The CAT 2023 exam is scheduled for November 26, 2023.

In the QS University Global MBA Rankings 2024, IIM Indore secured the 151st position. The placements for the class of 2023 at IIM Indore have concluded, witnessing a notable increase in the highest package by 132.6%, reaching INR 1.14 crore per annum. The average package also saw a significant rise of 20.8%, reaching INR 30.21 lakh per annum. Furthermore, IIM Indore was ranked 151st in the QS World University Global Rankings 2024.

IIM Indore course admissions for the year 2024 will be open following the release of CAT results. IIM Indore provides programs in MBA, Executive MBA, Integrated MBA, PhD, and Executive PhD across various management domains.

Apart from the regular MBA program, IIM Indore also provides an Integrated Program in Management at the undergraduate level. This program offers a BBA+ MBA degree from IIM Indore. IIM Indore course admissions to this program is based on the IPMAT exam, and the final admission offer depends on candidates’ interview performance and Aptitude Test.

IIM Indore also offers PGPMX/PGPWE through its Mumbai campus and the GMPE program for working executives. Eligibility for PGPMX requires 5 years of work experience, while at least 3 years of work experience are needed for GMPE. IIM Indore course admissions to PGPMX is based on the PGPMX Aptitude Test followed by a Personal Interview.

At the research level, IIM Indore provides FPM, EFPM, and the newly launched EFPMG programs. Admission to these programs is based on CAT/GRE/GATE/GMAT/JRF scores, followed by a Personal Interview. For EFPM and EFPMG, IIM Indore conducts the RAT exam for granting admission.

IIM Indore Admission Criteria for IPM Selection

The candidates will be selected on the basis of overall performance in the Aptitude Test (AT), Written Ability Test (WAT) & Personal Interview (PI). 

Candidates failing to appear either in IPMAT and WAT & PI or both shall not be considered for selection. The selection process is as follows:

Stage 1: The candidates satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria should submit their application online.

Stage 2: Based on the applications received, candidates satisfying minimum eligibility criteria will be called for the Aptitude Test (AT) to be conducted across 34 cities. 

The pattern of IPMAT will consist of 3 sections: 

1. Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ) – 40 Minutes
2. Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA) – 40 Minutes
3. Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ) – 40 Minutes

Each question in the aptitude will carry 4 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1 negative mark for each wrong answer except Quantitative Ability (SA) Section (these questions will not carry any negative marking).

Aspirants seeking IIM Indore course admissions to Integrated Program in Management have to appear for the Aptitude Test and obtain minimum qualifying marks as per the cut off that will be prepared by IIM Indore. The structure of Aptitude test will be as follows:

Stage 3: In this stage, the eligible pool for Stage-4 {i.e. shortlisting for Written Ability Test (WAT) & Personal Interview (PI)} is created considering only the candidates having positive raw scores and a minimum mark in each of the three sections of Aptitude Test.

The minimum cut off mark in each section will be decided by the Admissions Committee. The minimum cut off mark in each section will be based on the categories of applicants. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are rejected at this stage

Stage 4: A sufficient number of candidates will be shortlisted for WAT & PI from the eligible pool (refer Stage3) for each category (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST and PwD) using the merit list generated based on Aptitude Test Score (ATS) as mentioned in Table:

Stage 5: Only those candidates satisfying the requirements mentioned in the earlier stages will be considered for the final selection. Category wise merit list will be generated based on Composite Score (CS) as mentioned and provisional admission offers will be made accordingly adhering to the Government of India reservation norms.

For IIM Indore course admissions to PGP (MBA Program)/ PGP-HRM IIM Ahmedabad conducts CAT, in association with the other 20 IIMs of the country. To fill the application form, aspirants are requested to follow the given steps:

IIM Indore PGPMX Admission 2024

IIM Indore offers a part-time PGPMX program for working executives and Entrepreneurs through its Mumbai campus. It is a two-year alternate weekend Post Graduate Programme in management for working Executives.

Eligibility:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least completed 5 years of managerial/professional experience after a bachelor’s degree

IIM Indore Executive MBA Admission 2024

IIM Indore’s flagship One Year Full-Time Post-Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP). It is an intensive residential program designed for candidates, with a minimum of 5 years of work experience 

Eligibility: Candidates having 50% marks in 4-years Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in any discipline or equivalent are eligible for admission

Notes:

• 5% relaxation is offered to the candidates who belong to reserved categories.
• A Minimum 5 years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience is also mandatory.

IIM Indore Admission Criteria for Executive MBA Selection

The selection of candidates to the EPGP program of IIM will be conducted on the basis of the GMAT score and by the following interview. 

Shortlisting of candidates for the Personal Interview will be done on the basis of GMAT score and/or any other criteria as per Admission Committee for that academic year.

Finally, the merit list will be generated based on the Composite Score (CS). The composite score will be calculated on the basis of GMAT score and PI score. The weightage of each GMAT score and PI is as follows:

The Integrated Program in Business Analytics (IPBA) is a 10-month online program. Candidates who have secured 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree and have more than 1 year experience are eligible to apply for the program. A valid score of CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ Jigsaw Administered Test exams is also required for admission.

IIM Indore IPBA Selection Criteria

The selection criteria for IPBA is mentioned below:

• The eligible candidate must submit the application form along with the application fee and Resume.
• The application must include any of the exam scores CAT/ GMAT/ GRE.
• If the students do not possess any of the above test scores then he/she needs to appear in Jigsaw Administered Test

Eligibility: Candidates seeking admission to the PhD/ FPM course of IIM Indore should have a Master’s degree with 60% aggregate marks or equivalent are eligible for admission.

Stage 4: Final selection will be based on the requirements of the academic area to which the candidate has applied and an area-wise offer list will be prepared.

Commitment Fee

Selected candidates shall be required to deposit a commitment fee of INR 75,000 at the time of acceptance of the offer letter via an online bank transfer.

Financial Support

• Fellowship grant/stipend of INR 27,000 per month will be granted along with INR 33,000 per month (After clearing the area comprehensive examination).
• A contingency grant of INR 25,000/-(Rupees Twenty Five thousand only) per annum for 04 years is also provided to FPM students for supporting the research efforts. 
• The Institute subsidises for presenting papers in National Conference once in a year from the second year onwards.
• INR 2 Lakhs will also be granted to subsidise for International Conferences/ International Doctoral Colloquium/ International Professional Development Workshop during the entire period of the program but not beyond five years.

Waiver of Foundation Course

Following candidates are eligible to apply for waiver of the foundation course of the Fellow Programme in Management:

1. Alumni of IIMs (PGP, PGP-ABM, PGP-PMP, PGPX) provided the candidate has obtained in the first year of the above degree/diploma a minimum grade point equivalent to 3.00 out of 4.33, with no Fs and not more than two Ds.
2. Candidates satisfying the following conditions:

IIM Indore FPM/ EFPM Standard Tests

The candidates will be shortlisted based on the scores of the standard tests like CAT/ GRE/ GMAT/ GATE/ JRF/ RAT. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.

IIM Indore FPM/ EFPM Personal Interview 

The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the interview, where they will be judged based on different parameters decided by the Admissions Committee. Candidates will have to meet the minimum performance in all the PI parameters to be shortlisted for the next round.

IIM Indore FPM/ EFPM Final selection

The final selection will be based on the requirements of the academic area for which the candidates have applied. A category-wise and Academic Area-wise merit list will be generated based on the performance in the PI and a provisional admission offer will be made.

IIM Indore EFPMG Admission Criteria 2024

IIM Indore has added 3-years Executive Fellow Programme in Management and Governance (EFPMG) to the list of Doctoral courses offered at the institute. It is specifically designed for working professionals in Indian Administrative Services and has a duration of 3-years. The program offers 8 areas of research namely:

• Information Systems (Information Systems Management, Emerging technologies, and Data Science or Analytics)

IIM Indore EFPMG Eligibility

The minimum eligibility requirement for the IIM Indore EFPMG program is as follows:

• Master’s degree in any discipline with 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average
• Or, 2-year Postgraduate Diploma with 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average.
• Or, Professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA, CS with 50% aggregate marks along with a B.Com or Degree with 60% aggregate marks.
• Or, 5-year Integrated Master’s degree program in any discipline, with 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average.
• OR, First Class/ equivalent Bachelor’s degree (4 year/8 semesters) with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10 or equivalent.
• In addition, candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in class 10^th and 55% marks in class 12^th. 
• Also, a minimum 5-year work experience as an Officer (Pay band level 11 and above as per the 7^th CPC) is required.

IIM Indore EFPMG Selection Criteria

Applicants are evaluated based on their academic eligibility, Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and performance in PI. RAT will evaluate candidates on the basis of their quantitative ability, verbal ability and research aptitude. Those who qualify RAT are further invited for PI, which is conducted in the July.

IIM Indore Admission Criteria for GMPE 2024

IIM Indore also offers 1-year General Management Programme (GMPE) for working executives. The classes are held on every Sunday i.e. GMPE is a weekend program. 

IIM Indore GMPE Eligibility

Candidates having different qualifications must have following work experience:

• Candidates with Professional Qualifications such as ICWAI, CA & ACS must have a minimum of 2 years work experience.
• Candidates with Master’s degree/Engineering degree holder/Professional Degree must have atleast 3 years work experience.
• Other degree holders such as B.Sc./ B.Com/ BA must have 5 years of work experience
