Postgraduate courses
Postgraduate level Calicut University courses include M Tech, MA, M. Com, MHA, M. Ed, M Phil and MA. These courses are available in specializations like Structural Engineering, VLSI Design, Construction Technology, Energy System Engineering, Computational Linguistics, Arabic, Commerce, Women's Studies, and Theater Arts etc. UG courses are covered in three to four-year duration while PG courses are covered in two to three years duration.

All the applicants are admitted to the university course on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying exam. Candidates are required to get certain marks in these exams in order to get entry into a particular course. A cut-off list is prepared by the university on the basis of factors such as the number of candidates appearing for the examination, the difficulty level of the exam, their highest scores in the qualifying exam and the number of seats available in a particular department of the university.
