    The exam is carried out in the following steps

    Exam pattern for preliminary exam

    The exam is conducted in paper and pen mode. The duration is 2 hours. The exam is based on multiple choice questions (MCQ). Prelims exam is the gateway to enter the main exam.

    Based on the performance in prelims and mains exam a merit list will be prepared and published in the official website. Those selected candidates should appear for the interview process.

    Tips to prepare for the exam

    • A healthy body will serve as a gateway for a sound mind.
    • Selecting an appropriate book for the preparation process will help in fruitful preparation of the exam.
    • The candidate must make the documents ready before applying for the exam.
    • The last-minute hurry berry may cause errors in uploading the documents online. So to do a smart work the candidate must prepare the documents in the required format.
    • One can expertise in the mathematical part only by constant practice.
    • Hindi is one of the paper in the main exam so the candidate must ensure he/ she is strong enough in his language skill.
    • The candidate must choose his optional paper properly since it carries 300 marks. He/She should be strong enough in the opted paper.
    • Most of the questions will be based on general So a candidate mustn’t waste time. He/She should keep updating his general knowledge and current affairs to master that paper.
    • The candidate must ensure that he or she is keeping a constant track on his or her strength and weakness by taking up the mock tests online.
    • Since most of the questions will be from the state board syllabus the candidate can prepare the subjects well for their board exam.
    • The most crucial part is time management.
    • The candidate must train in such a way that he completes all the questions within the given time limit.
    • It is paper and pen-based test so the candidate should allocate some time to check the answered questions so as to ensure the reliability of the answers.
    • The candidate should avoid careless mistakes so concentrating on what he does matters a lot.
    • The candidate should make use of his time properly in the exam hall to avoid last minute tension. So proper planning will help to manage time.
