State Bank of India (SBI) released a notification for the Probationary Officers (PO) recruitment on 6th February 2017. A total of 2403 candidates will be recruited via SBI PO 2017. SBI PO 2017 will be conducted in online mode with two phases – preliminary and mains. SBI PO 2017 preliminary exam will be conducted in multiple sessions on 29th & 30th April and May 6th & 7th. Candidates who successfully qualify the SBI PO 2017 preliminary exam will be shortlisted to appear for mains exam and candidates who will qualify the mains will be subsequently called for a group exercise & interview. Following is the eligibility criteria for SBI PO exam Nationality: Candidates should be Indian Citizens. Age Limit: Candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st April 2017 which means candidates should be born not earlier than 02.04.1987 and not later than 01.04.1996 (inclusive of both days) Educational Qualification– Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the final year/semester of their graduation can also apply. How to Apply for SBI PO 2017: Firstly, Candidates should read the eligibility criteria carefully to ensure that they are eligible to apply for the SBI PO Exam before applying. Candidates should visit the official website to apply for SBI PO 2017 exam Candidates should carefully fill the details specified on the website. Fees have to be paid only via online mode Online Editing of Application Form will be available for limited time period only No changes will be allowed after the final submission of SBI PO 2017 form. SBI PO 2017 Exam Pattern: SBI PO 2017 exam will consist of questions of graduation level. The Structure & Pattern of SBI PO 2017 has been divided into Preliminary, Mains and Group Discussion (GD) & Interview. Preliminary Examination: Preliminary Examination will consist of Objective type Tests which will be conducted online and will be for 100 marks. The duration of the test will be for 1-hour having 3 sections namely English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. Mains Examination: Mains exam will be a Objective & Descriptive type Test. The Objective Test will be of 200 marks and Descriptive Test will be for 50 marks. Both the Tests will be conducted online. The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in both the tests i.e. Objective Tests and the Descriptive Test will be arranged in descending order in each category to be called for the Interview. For Group Exercises & Interview the qualifying marks in will be as decided by the Bank. The group exercises will have 20 marks and interview will carry 30 marks.
