Most of the students are anxious about their results. The candidates who have written ATMA need not wait much for the results as it will be announced within one week after the exam. For the exam which is conducted on 23 December 2018, the results will be announced on 28 December 2018. You can find the results only on the official website. It should be noted that the candidates will not receive their results in the hard copy through posts. So, it is mandatory for the students to be aware of the latest updates of the results.

Candidates will be getting the results in the form of both the overall scores and the sectional scores.

Steps to check the results

Follow the given instructions to check your results

  • Go to the official website and select the link which would show the result.
  • Choose the date of the exam.
  • In the screen which appears on the computer, enter your roll number or registration number or Personal Identification Number and the password.
  • You will get the scorecard displaying your results.
  • Download the results.
  • It is imperative to take the print out of the scorecard. Keep this copy safe as it is the most needed document for your counselling.
  • Information given in the scorecard is Name of the candidate, Address of the Candidate, Roll Number, Test Date, Marks scored under different sections, overall scaled score and overall percentile.

Scores are calculated by giving one mark for every correct answer and 0.25 is deducted for every wrong answer. If any of the candidates are resorting to any malpractices in the exam, they will not get the scorecard, or their scores will be cancelled. In such cases, the students will be informed.

Counselling process

Once the results are announced, the next step would be the admission to various colleges. Preferences are already given while applying for the exam.  Students should do the necessary analysis and prepare the list of colleges in which they wish to pursue their higher education. Selection of the Institutions should be done with serious attention as it decides their future.

Based on the cut-off and the college preferences given by the candidates, they will be called by the institutions for group discussion and personal interview. Applicants who will perform well as per the required standards of the institutes will be getting admission in the respective management schools.
