It is important that the candidates should satisfy all the necessary eligibility conditions to get admission through this exam. If anyone is found not eligible at any stage in the exam, their candidature will get cancelled.  The eligibility conditions are framed by the authorities concerned and released along with the official notification and published on the official website of the test. These eligibility conditions are generally the same every time. Still, candidates are advised to go through the official notification to check for any changes. All the eligible conditions concerning the exam are mentioned in the table given below:

Nationality ·         Candidates with Indian Nationality can apply for this exam

·         There is no domicile requirement.

·         The people of foreign origin can also apply for the exam provided they have the citizenship certificates issued by foreign authorities.

Age ·         There is no age restrictions mentioned on the official website.

·         This gives a wonderful opportunity for many to realise their dream of becoming an engineer.

Educational qualification for B.E /B.Tech ·         Candidates should have scored 50 % in their Higher secondary examination

·         Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics should be the compulsory subjects and candidates should not have obtained less than 55% in each individual subject.

·         They should have got a good score in AISEEE/JEE

Educational qualification for Lateral Entry ·         It has two options:

·         Candidates who have completed B.Sc. can apply for this exam provided they should have taken Mathematics as one of the core subjects and the minimum marks obtained should be at least 60%

·         Candidates should have cleared a diploma degree in Engineering.

Educational qualification for those pursuing part-time engineering courses. ·         They should have a diploma in engineering.

·         It is also essential to have two-year work experience.

Number of attempts ·         The details regarding the number of attempts is not specified on the official website.

·         There is no limit on the number of attempts .

There are no specific eligibility criteria for any of the courses. The students who have completed the 12th std and satisfy all the other eligibility conditions can apply for all the courses. This helps the students to get into any course based on their interest. It should be noted that the candidates who will be appearing for 12th std final exam or other equivalent exams will also be eligible for appearing in AISEEE 2019.

There are also certain seats in this institution which are filled through management quota. For the candidates to become eligible to get the seats under this, they should have scored more than 80% individually in all the three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

To prove their eligibility, candidates should submit the proof of their eligibility during the process of admission. All the essential documents should be presented at the time of counselling. Those documents will be thoroughly checked. If there are any malpractices even in one of the eligibility conditions, the seats allotted to them will be rejected.
