CTET 2019 December Admit Card

CTET or Central Teacher Eligibility Test is a national level examination that is conducted twice every year for teachers by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Every year thousands of teachers appear for this exam as the CTET certificate is an important document for candidates aspiring to become teachers, especially in the government schools where TET qualification certificate is a mandatory document.

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted in two parts – Paper-I and Paper-II.  Paper-I is conducted for the candidates who want to teach the primary classes (I-V). Paper-II is conducted for candidates who want to teach upper primary classes (VI-VIII). Candidates can also appear for both the papers.

Candidates who apply for CTET examination and get qualified for the certificate become eligible for recruitment into any central school like Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodya Vidyalaya, etc.

CTET 2019 (December) examination is set to be conducted on 8th December 2019 for both Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates who have applied for this exam must thoroughly prepare for the exam now as the exam date is coming close.

CBSE CTET Exam 2019

Both the papers will be of 3 hours each. Paper-I will be conducted from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm whereas Paper-II will be conducted from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Both the papers will comprise of 150 marks in all. The portions for which candidates will have to appear in each paper are as follows –

The admit card for the exam is generally released by CBSE, a week or two before the exam. The admit card will be available online. Candidates can follow a few simple steps to download the admit card when released –

  1. Visit the official website for CTET, which is https://ctet.nic.in/
  2. Select the “Download Admit card” option
  3. To access the admit card, candidates will have to fill in their registration number and date of birth
  4. Download the admit card and save it for future references.

Ans. CTET is conducted twice a year, in July and in December.

Q2. Has CTET Admit Card 2019 been released?

Ans. The CTET Admit Card 2019 for the July exam was released on 21st June 2019. The admit card for the December exam is yet to be released.

Q3. Is there negative marking in CTET 2019 Examination?

Ans. Candidates will not have to face any negative marking for CTET 2019.

Q4. How much does a candidate have to score to qualify for CTET certificate?

Ans. In order to receive the CTET certificate, candidates will have to score at least 60 or above.

Q5. What is the average salary of CTET Teachers?

Ans. The average salary for a CTET teacher for Primary classes is Rs 1,50,000/- per year. The average salary for a CTET teacher for Upper Primary Classes is Rs 2,30,000/- per year.
