offered to experienced guys.. especially in the technical field ...(are lateral offers made?)..
the kind of profiles that they are offered.I read the thread on the placements
but cudnt get much info.
A lot of questions really..but thats the state of my mind ...

You certainly have a profile which would definitely command a premium from the recruiter.As far as laterals process is concerned , college rules does not allow me to post any details about that on a public forum.It would be better if you could meet us in person on campus. Now that you have joined one of the best b-schools ,just relax . :)

As mentioned by spiderman, discussing placement figures in open forum is not the best idea. However u can visit the link below for some insight
