BRAINIAC - This is an initiative taken by the E-Cell this year. This is a competition open to all, whosoever is interested can participate in this event. This is an online quiz. No prior registration is required. Incidentally the quiz is gonna start in 10 more mins from now i.e., sharp at 11PM. The quiz is for half an hour. Depends on the number of months of work ex you have.

We have candidates who have 5 years of work experience who was shortlisted at a score of around 50+.
Freshers are in at a score of 65+ and a person with 2-3 years of experience was shortlisted at 60+.

But again the score may not remain the same for this year. It depends on the relative performance as well as the profile of students applied for admissions.

Yes you can...
The relative score is always low for work-ex compared to that of freshers, but it doesn't mean that this year too if you score somewhere around 60+ you'll get a call.

As already mentioned, it depends on the relative performance as well as the profile of students applied for admissions.

i want to know how much weighted SIIB give ppl who hav WE in der family business. i have 25 months experince in my business with my elder brother .should i mention dis experience in application form ?????
also is my experience is equivalent to 25 months xprince of IT or any other field xprince ??

12th-57.6%
after dat
25 months xprince in my own business
now b.tech-65%(till 6th sem)...
after dis profile should i apply 4 SITM????...senior plzzz...

This query can't be answered directly as it involves lots of obligations. It depends upon your interest to choose which field you want to work in. Basically, it is IT, Telecom, Infrastructure Providers, Service Providers, Consulting, etc etc.

Once you choose the field, the profiles would be Business Consultant, Business Analyst, Pre-Sales Manager etc etc...

Here are some of the profiles our esteemed alumni are in:

Dear Mohit,

First of all this is not a thread for SIIB queries.

As far as the work experience goes, you didn't mention what kinda business is it? Which field is it related to?

Any experience would be full time experience, if and only if, you work full time, you have a offer letter, you have the pay slips and finally a relieving letter. You have also mentioned that you are now in the 6th or 7th semester which means that you didn't work full time after graduation. So the experience you claim would not be counted under any circumstances. If you try to produce some documents related to work-ex, be sure that you are answerable to any kinda question from the interview panel. Being honest with the interview panel would make your way easy for admissions.

You can still apply for SITM with the profile which you have. You have a decent profile. Concentrate on MBA entrance tests.

regarding my work experience it is my family business ,so i have no offer letter or pay slip .yeah i can saw all the doucement of my business and recomendation letter of any senior/regional officer of company at the time of PI.
yes my experience was full time because i did not take admission after my 12th and joined with my brother.so i just want to know does SITM consider WE that somebody have done b4 gradution(full time)

may be this experience is not same like any mnc company but senior what do you think has it any value should i mention this experience in FORM or not?????

You don't have to be sorry buddy, and don't address me Sir.

Well regarding the work experience recommendation letters would add to your profile.Regarding the work experience you have, you can still put that in your resume, that would be a value addition but as far as I know that would not be counted as work experience.

PS: You can still add your WE in your profile and you have an edge over the others with your profile with good score

Does SITM recuriter consider 12th marks too or only UG and PG performance????

Don't worry much about the 12th percentage. Concentrate on the B-Tech percentage now.
Eligibility criteria says that a minimum of 50% is required.
ELIGIBILITY

Companies during placements do check for the percentage but you still have chance to score good CGPA in MBA. Then the 12th percentage could be overlooked. All these issues which you raised regarding the percentage, work-ex do matter but not significantly.

It's you, as a person, decides what you can be.
