Process takes arnd 4 hrs..
N the process ends on the same day itself

Carry a resume... U never knw whn an interviewer might ask 4 it.. N plz post ur queries of these kind on other threads dedicated to SIIB. THis thread is for GD/PI experiences and queries related to the same

HAD MY GD ON 1ST feb.
first u have 2 fill a form which is like ur c.v. it includes all ur academic details and co curicular achievements.
then they give u a group task in a group of 5. we had to make square boxes....
now there was g.d. it was a hybrid of case study n topical g.d. many ethical questions were asked in the case itself and we had to answer dem....
then came interview... some hr guy... very friendly... was just of 10 mins... no techincal q's... same borin stuff... why mba?... career goals... strengths...weaknesses...blah blah..
then came essay my group topic was... are leaders born or made?
go wid cool mind....friendly stuff dere...

Could you please let us know approximately how long did it take for the entire process to finish? Also, with respect to the group task, what were the accessories provided? Was it simply some kind of craft-work that u guys had to do or did it require some planning and organization?

hey varun ,one lady mention here that she have got mail from siib,information regarding interview and all,i have not got any mail,is there any problem.plz let me know,whats the email all about.my interview is on 9th feb.
Ya same with me.....i heard from some guys that they have received a mail....but i havent got any one....my GD/Pi is also on 9 Feb......at what time is yours....

i dn thnk so there shud be any problem. Just check ur mail bulk folder for the same. If u havent received a mail thn have a printout of the GD/PI call from SIIB website. Tht shud be sufficient

had my gdpi yesterday.......arrangements were quite good n everything was according to the scheduleentire process took around 5 hours....group task.....4 to 5 ppl at a time....given pieces of squares....n we have to make a square.....(puzzle)....15 mins.....but here we can neither speak nor make a gesture......(how do i explain) but its not tough....not easy either...on the whole the entire process was cool n chilled out.....the panelists went out of their way to make us comfortable....... gd was a simple case study.....essay.......wat does the color green mean to u pi.......qualities of a leader....last book u read ......y mba......dreams......future plans .......
guys...me thru wid my siib gd/pi...it waz fine...dere waz a grp task initially....4 ppl in d grp....u had 2 make 5 squares wid sum pieces....but we were nt allowed to talk 2 each other...only d pieces cud b passed....thn dere waz a case study....discussion on tht....it waz easy....waz grilled on IB in PI....so not too gud.....in d end an essay....d topic waz GENETIC ENGINEERING:MAN PLAYIN GOD....ATB to all d puys
Hey Ashish, in your post you mentioned they asked you questions related to IB .. could you please be a lil more clear about the nature of the questions and the topics touchd upon??

hi.......... i am done with my GD-PI today....... its a coollllllllll process.
First Group task,then Case study,Pi & at the last essay writing. 'Is urbanization swallowing over the agriculture?' was my topic. PI was just a HR interview.
Overall i was a relax chilled out process.
So guys relax n enjoy the refreshments at SIIB......
