Here we will discuss about quin academy mocks...i found no thread for this so started this one.

I found some of the questions very confusing in these mocks, which i wanted to discuss with somebody else and this will be the great platform for that.

I hope this thread will be used for this purpose only.

We can post our mock scores and then analyze paper to have discussion on some particular qs.

how are these mocks in comparision with TIME mocks?

I think ***** mocks are better than those of time....but time is also not bad....:)

yes i agree wid swappyjob.....quo_n mocks are a bit tougher and better....time also has a good set of standard papers with a large student base,so you can approx compare your rank with many fellow students!

Guys every1 has given mock 8? We can strt discussin it. I found it a little tufer than 7 and 6 for sure..

Plus lot of DS ques which r my weakness.. 😞

Even i felt mock 8 was slightly tougher than 6 and 7....scoring just 141 in it....messed up big time.I found visual reasoning a little tough in that paper.The question on Time and Work also was difficult.Even the LR set was not that straightforward.The DS questions were also tricky.A good mock though.Need to review it thoroughly.

QU-OIN mocks are better on the whole i would say, than the TIME mocks.The RC's i find in QU-OIN mocks are easy as compared to time.As in they are short and most of the questions are straightforward.The LR-Puzzles are better than TIME mocks in general.The D.I questions are less time consuming than TIME D.I.The pattern and difficulty of each paper varies.So all in all a good package.

Puys, I'd suggest we start from the first mock rather than jumping to the 8th one. There might be some here who haven't given the 8th mock (Myself included ). So if you'll discuss it, we won't be able to participate.

Let's start with the first one,finish it completely and move on to the next.
What say?

    Let's all decide a particular day and give paper in the same slot..... If the class is open on 26th then we can give mock together and also meet and discuss it later.........watsay???

    Actually,today we had a chat with patrick sir and he suggested the same thing,that we start group-study as it will help us discover better methods of solving a particular question.So starting tomorrow we(there are just two us now...hopefully more will join) have decided to meet at the quion centre in dadar and discuss the previous QU(O)IN/TIME mocks.We were told that the classroom where the test is conducted is generally free in the morning.Will however confirm that before going 2mrw.

    Tomorrow I will be giving test at Thane center........ Also, mostly I give mocks in the afternoon slot so that I have practice of writing paper in the afternoon..... Since there are very few on PG from the academy we can easily form a study group......

    I don't think I will be able to come tomorrow to Dadar since I have to meet a friend after the mock..... so lets decide tomorrow evening about the next mock and start a study group......

    Class is not open on 26th. I had already asked Patrick sir about this.
    It's great to see you guys come together and study. Wish I could be a part of this but my working hours are and the Thane branch is very thanda.
    Anyways, I will try and come on friday to dadar. Let's meet up,form a strategy and kick some serious CET rear

    same problem...office...but can join u guys after 6 at dadar...or else we can meet on fri (aft 6) , sat and sunday.....

    but now i have to give 1st mock...i just joined quin and took 7th mock only...will try to attempt 1st mock today....to catch up with u guys..


    i think we can dedicate some 3-4 days for some particular mock...we will discuss on that mock only for those days and then move ahead....what u say???

    Same here. Even i joined in late at around mock 6. But will give Mock 1 by thursday so that we can strt discussing.
