i think a more than average person should easily score 15 each, that is 30.
chances of scoring more than that are less, but not impossible.

just give your best shot man...

for GDs...
they will give you topic, you need to talk 'sense' on that topic for the time allotted which could be anything from 10 to 15 mins. As it is a group discussion, dont ever get too aggressive, make your point clear, dont be repetitive, and always be a TEAM PERSON, so involve others.

For PIs...
they will ask your background, mostly your graduation & if you have work experience, then based on that...
Say if we speak about your graduation, you will be asked about your special subject, what you liked & then few questions based on the same.
Also, WHY MBA, WHY NOT..., all these questions would be a default. Your strengths, weaknesses, justification for everything would be asked.

Thanx a lot for all the information... Me hope to get into PUMBA this year... Hae my gdpi on 18th...

Hi....
Since i've no frends from MBA background...i wanted to ask an important thing....m interested in Finance...so wen r we supposed to choose finance....during admission or later on???
And is it according to merit or anybody is free to choose finance irrespective of the merit???

you dont have to make any choice during admission...
you have to choose ur specialization after second trimester, that is in february, after ur exm of 2nd trimester.
anybody is free to choose any specialization, no merit for that.
Hey guys,
I have appeared for my final year Bsc Biotech exam. Scored 97.18% in ATMA. I don't have any work ex though. Got good extracurriculars and stuff. What are my chances??

have u appeared for CET GD/PI...
if yes, still ur chances look very dim for MBA++, usually students with 99.70 percentile & above in ATMA make it to PUMBA.
u shud've tried MBA-BT in PUMBA, but it seems u havent applied, u gotta try next year then...

my cet score is 122
and atma percentile s 98.96..
wat r my chances of makin it to coll

u're ATMA percentile is a bit less, 99.50 & above with GD/PI left...shud've been better...
r u an OMS candidate?
please tell ur candidature so that its easy to tell ur chances

btw, u've applied for MBA-BT too isnt it...

"have u appeared for CET GD/PI..."

I have my GD-Pi tomm..

"u shud've tried MBA-BT in PUMBA, but it seems u havent applied, u gotta try next year then.."

Woops..forgot to mention. I have applied for MBA-BT.

i am a maharastra candidate

and ya i applied for mba-bt..

MBA++ is MBA general....just the course name has changed & been copyrighted.
so thru ATMA its MBA-BT.
thru CET its MBA++ (or general, its same).

i think u are mumbai univ. candidate. ur chances are 50%.
i will show you a list of cut-offs, from my last post, u can make an assumption out of it...
cut-off for 2007 was -
Home Univ. - 137
Other Univ. - 151
OMS - 165

cut-off for 2006 was -
Home Univ. - 145
Other Univ. - 160
OMS - 176

Now if we calculate this year's percentile, they show a trend of the year 2006.
Thus, the cut-offs could be assumed to be that of the year 2006 & a bit upwards due to increasing competition for PUMBA.
So you can add 3-4 marks to every list if you wanna assume, or the same cut-offs should be sufficient.

and if u are home univ. pune then u're already in...
do u know ur CET percentile???
