I was searching for relevant FMS Part Time MBA thread from long time,but found none.

So i am starting a new thread for the discussion exclusively for FMS(PT) Part Time MBA-2011.

Here we shall discuss:
1. FMS Paper held on 23 jan,2010
2. GD/PI call list
3. Profiles of the puys
4. other relevant information about course and part time MBA
5. Any other info related to FMS(PT)-2011

Let me start from today's paper

Its was an easy paper compare to FMS(FT)-2011 paper.

Total no of Qs:150
Marking scheme +4,-1
No sectional cuttoff(was written on Qs Paper instructions)

No of attempts:130
Expected accuracy:90%

Interview generally take place in end april or may.
Interviews are very simple,no GD only PI.
Expected Qs why MBA,how shall you manage time for classes in evening.
FYI timings are 6:15PM-9:00PM(Mon-Fri) sometimes on Sat too.

I have missed the FMS part time exam. Can you please guide me other good options available in Delhi NCR. Few which i knew are IIT-D, IIM-L, MDI.
And also share your views regarding the scope of Part time MBA...

One more option you may explore is IIFT(IB),Delhi.:-P
I think you must see the timings of the classes and location of your office/residence to choose 1.
As far as i know timings are as below

IIM-L:Thrus,Friday(Eve),Sat(Full Day)
FMS:Mon-Fri(Eve 6:15)
IIFT:Sat(Half),Sun(Full)
MDI:alternate week days,some weekends too
IIT-D:Mon-Fri(Eve classes)

So see where you can adjust you in better way.
You have to spend 3 full years following the schedule.
So dont take it easy

hello guys,
I hv also been selected for interview. hv u any idea abt last year's cutt off marks of part time mba. I think this yaer's questions were too easy in maths & total no of questions has also been reduced from 200 to 150. means cutt off marks will be higher for this year.

friends, tell me about the weightage of written & interview marks in final result.
the no. of participating guys in this forum is too little hence mutual co-operation is more required for interchanging of informations.thanks..............

Got the letter today .Interview on 2nd April . Any idea what do they ask (generally)?

Well I am not sure...but what I have learned from the blog posts from PagalGuy...they may ask about the projects you have taken up in your career and may be current affairs and related to hobbies etc.
Well I haven't received the letter yet... 😞

Not received letter yet. Who all here have received? I will complete 3 yrs of experience on July 22. FMS wants 3 yrs work-ex till August 2011. So, my total experience will be 3 yrs and 8 days.

Is it a weak point for me??

@thenewway11 : got both letter as well as email today.
@aryan4ever2006 : To me 3 years seems more like a pre-requisite for course and not something for which they will assign some points for selection criteria.
