Nice Initiative mitin!
Hopefully forms should be out by Mid october and the exams will be arnd Jan 15th.
BTW seniors Pls throw some light on FMS(MS) exam too - number of seats and cut off.

hello puys,

as of now i can answer few queries relating to MBA(Management of Services), FMS. The exam notification isnt out yet, so cannot tell when, but will keep u posted for sure.

as far as exam pattern is concerned, there were 175 questions in total last year, decent attempt was 140+. It depends on the paper this year. Exam will be around 15th Jan. there are no sectional cutoffs as such. The total no of seats is 40+4(foreign students).

Hi, i have a doubt. In our university first class equals 70% . Now i have 60%+ but less than 70 . Few guyz told me that a first class and not 60% is the eligibility criterion for FMS .

Please clarify the same.

If u r really aiming for FMS (FT), u need to attempt 130 questions with 82-85 % accuracy (or) 120 questions with 90% accuracy. (based on last year trend)

Guess the seats have increased to 90 this yr...donna what would be the figures for general category ppl.

Could you lay down a strategy which could help in tackling the fms test.

Is work experience required for admission into FMS?

also is it neccesary to take coaching for FMS test? I mean is it as tough as CAT?

and can anyone pls provide the last years i.e 2005 FMS test paper or any sample papers for this years FMS test

It is not necessary to take up coaching for FMS but a dedicated preparation in accordance with last few years of FMS test papern will definetly help in acing the test.

Various coaching insti's website provide you Analysis of previous FMS papers. Hope this will help.

Hmmmmm.... You seem to be in a tearing hurry to get into FMS dude! The advert's not out as yet, so unfortunately I cannot comment on the last date. Visit fms.edu for regular updates.

Thanx re...Anywz i heard theres sm book from IMS which contains the fms sample test...u can try that.

Just waiting for the test date.
