BITS Pilani... name speaks. hmm... so season has begun again.... i wan2 do my mba from bits... but one (not so good) thing is the test Engineering subjects also.... i m 2007 passout ... almost out of touch for 3 years... :|.... recently i've received my M.S. in S/W engg from BITS (work integrated learning sponsored by my *** company):splat:... now gearing up for MBA ...

Also kudos to kartanj,puneet95 for their significant contributions to the other BITS MBA thread.
Though I have been in touch with few of the people from the class of 2011, I've been actively passive on pagalguy post completion of my internship.And now when I'm back and settled in Mumbai... I find it apt to reconnect via this platform to all you people again :-)
I am elated to know that the proactiveness of BITS MBA junta is shifting gears up year-on-year. People are going for globally recognised certifications, presenting research papers at institutes of the cadre of IIMs, participating in events, engaging with corporates for summers, guest lectures & recruitments etc. .Overall , I expect the batch to come out with flying colours on completion of their course.
Also it would be a great idea to have a thread dedicated to the updates on the latest happenings @ the campus.I also invite other alumni to connect & contribute.

Engineering Subjects knowledge is not much required for BITS MBA Entrance Test, so no worries. BITSAT contains 3 Test Categories. MBA Applicants are not required to give Test 2 which contains questions from Engineering, they only need to give Test 1 and Test 3.
Details of Online Test for MBA Applicants:
Test 1
1.Core Mathematics
2.Core Physics
3.English Language Skills & Principles of Management
4.Computer Programming

Test 3
Management Aptitude Test

The online test for BITS MBA is generally held in the second week of June.

BITS, Pilani MBA has a unique concept of Practice School(PS). The 2 year MBA Program has been compressed into 1.5 year course classroom and 6 month internship(PS). Each Semester we study 8 subjects i.e 6+2 subjects, we have 3 semesters of class, so 2*3 i.e 6 subjects of 4th Semester are made up by studying each semester 2 subjects more.
I will be updating about the PS Company List Soon!! The stipends received in PS are considerably good. Each PS company is a good chance of job conversion in addition to On Campus Placements, and nearly all PS companies are a blue chip companies!!

can you please brief more about admission process in BITS... like..when will the next batch start , application announcement....pattern of test ... imp areas to look out for the test..strategy to be followed... etc etc so that we can go ahead and start the preparation as per it...

3. Pattern of test: Details of Online Test for MBA Applicants:
Test 1
1.Core Mathematics
2.Core Physics
3.English Language Skills & Principles of Management
4.Computer Programming

Test 3
Management Aptitude Test

4. Imp areas to look out for the test..strategy to be followed: Concentrate on Test 3 i.e Management Aptitude Test, it consists of 48 Questions to be answered in 60 minutes. Test 3 is GMAT/CAT alike, so make your strategy accordingly.
