hey there , hi my name is yogita , sir mein abroad se MS. karna chati hoon , aur mujhe is chezz ka koi idea nahi hai , ki kis country se kis cheez mein MS karna hai , mujhe sirf yeh pata ahi , ki finance , HR , advertisement , Marketting in sab cheezon mein se kisi ek mein hi karna hai , aur sir mujhe ke renowed university se karna hai , mera abroad mein koi nahi rehta hai , sirf meri mausi rehti hai canada mein st.johns. newfoundland mein................

kya app plzz meri help karnege , aur sabse pehle mujhe yeh bataiye ki , kitne Rs hume chaiye hai ek class university se masters karne ke liye abraod se , minimum to minimum.................

aur sir mudra institue ki kya fee hai , only fee kya hai ? uske baad mein bhopal mein rehti hoon , so rehne khane ka kharcha kitna aayega..............and total kya lagega ..........? plzz tell me sir and help me...

hello there guys , i am yogita , and i am doing BBA froma college in bhopal......and i need your help this time , coz i am really very very confused that which one i should choose , marketting or finance.......? now i am in 5th semister , and i have to chosse one out of two....and there is no HR in my college , so now i have to choose between marketting and finance.........

i have asked ppl abt some guidance regarding this , so thay told me , that everyone is choosing marketting , mostly it is a line for boys , and girls find it hard to do , and finance is better for girls , and .........all like this , in 11 th and 12th , my subjects waw bio science , and i am really not in touch with finance or accounts , so i have to study from very begging , if i choose finance........more over i was thinking taht i'll be doing my MBA in HR or advertisement..........

so here are some queries which i am having in my mind , plzz clear it guys..........

1. so just tell me which will be good for me , is it will be benificial for me if i'll take finance.........?

2 is finance is more good than marketting?

2. is marketting more tough than finance ?

3.after selecting finance is it will be possible for me to do MBA in adverstiement or HR ?

3.after selecting marketting is it will be possible for me to do MBA in adverstiement or HR ?


4. in marketting is it really true that our boss give us orders to complete target than he gives us the salary ( i.e after completing target) ? , i mean i am really confused guys , that we will be managers , so is it true that we will also be doing field work , or we'll manage the employees under us..........i am not getting excatly , wt managers do , i think they manage , but i need real information from you guys...............

4. is there any other good way to suggest ?


5. plzz help me and reaply , soon , coz i have to fill my form on monday , so i want a wise dicission...........

grt....i reacalled ... i watch all the series of spiderman , i think your a spidy fan ..are you?

actually it always offcourse not ahppen , that ppl want to atke responsibilty...just becoz tehy wants to earn money , i know , but they may want to accept responsibilty ...becoz they love to take those responsibilities , they love to be loved by others for wt they are........they want teher own position i society and life...and tahts obvious,....but u know buddy , when it comes to life....i mean living life ....i think that....somethings are just like we wanna do them...without caring for any thing , like in spiderman sequel.....the spidy wants to be a normal guy so taht he gets mary jane...but he knows he can't....be now...and the other thing is that he loves to be spidy , hes loves to be loved by other s, like it was in the recent spiderman 3 movie , if you watched..........

well , i am not having such kinda trouble with me. ....LOL , the only thing i want is just to ake out soem time for ourselve and our family..that is it.............and i know we'll surely get , kyonki agar aisa nahi hota na toh koi bhi MBA ....bana ek baad khush nahi rehta...he he..par nahi they are happy...they are having everything they want ...they are happya nd satisfied...........

anyways , tahnx for reminding me such a grt line , your true..........but in case of spiderman..he never wanted to be a spidy , it was he got that power by mistke...and thsi is the otehr thing taht he enjoyed it.......and offcourse here we'll also chosse our job ...for not only money but for many raesons........

lets say you work in ICICI bank as an officer.
u will be expected to come by 9 AM and then leave by 8 PM.

once ur back home, most of the time there will be nothing for you to worry about. so this means you can enjoy ur time once your home, with family or ur friends.

now lets say ur in chanda kochar's shoes(she happens to be ICICI's joint managing directory), so now its not just a 9-8 job, but much more.
attending board meeting, decision making, planning, press statements, travelling for official matters so on

now being chanda kochar you cant tell ICICI that you want to go home and thus skip the board meeting, or my son's wants to get his hair cut so i need to be there. well it might work for some days, but not everytime.

all said and done, thats what management is all about.

you know bharath , i truely understand wt you said .....but i think that you haven't understood me completely....like wt i sadi before....thats why you said that " if i want 9-8 job i am not good for MBA " ...........actually i haven't said that i want my period limited for work or something like that.......i have never said that i'll not do work after 8 or before 9...........plaa don't atke me otherwise.......coz i am saying all this in a very polite manner.........the thing i was worried abt is this that do i will get leaves when i'll want...and offcourse previously i said that i'll not take two weeks leave in a month , but guys here helped me by telling that...yeah there are some official holidays for company too...but as in every case there will be exceptions...and i am fullyaware of that , actually this all craeated so ,mcuh confusion in me , coz i ahve got no one from my family , who is theer in MNC or doing service..............any ways , now i came to know , that MBA's are pampered , and yes tehre all leaves too...and oofcourse if there will be emergencys in the company then you ahve to go and thats obvious..........and if we'll ahve emergencies , in our family then offcourse we'll also get leave..............

i think i am right now.....after so much conversation...but still if you think that i ahve made a incorrect scenario of all thsi , then do correct me................

this is a question u need to ask urself Yogita, not others
ur life quality, work quality so on depends on ur interests and ur commitment.

being a CEO of a company you can get lot of perks like a chauffeur driven car, a palacial house, and a good pay along with so much more.
along with these u will also get lots of responsibility.

so the duration you get for sleep, or the time you get to spend with family depends on ur job requirements.

if ur looking at a definite answer then i can say this
a high profile job is very demanding, and you need to find a balance between ur work and ur personnal life. if you want to take it or not is also ur choice.

if u think u want a 9-8 job, then maybe an MBA degree is not for you Yogita
